The best Okonomiyaki resto here in the Philippines. They have an assigned staff for each customer that will cook the okonomiyaki for you. The food is savory though it’s a bit pricey. The ambience of the resto feels like you’re in Japan.

It was my first time to try this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The okonomiyaki is really good and csn serve 2 people. The waiters were also attentive and would explain the process patiently to me. You can ask them to cook it for you if you are not comfortable doing it yourself.

Awesome Dohtonbori Experience! 💖The family and I were ecstatic to try something new. You get treated like a Japanese individual which is really great. The seating style is so unique and fun. The only thing that's uncomfy is the fact that the stove is so hot, even with the AC on blast, you can still feel the heat.Okonomiyaki is delish! Have nothing to compare it against since this is the first time I've had one up close next to those food stall who sell them with so much cabbage on it. Lol. I'm pretty sure it ain't even on the same level.Besides the fact that it is hot, seat can be a struggle especially when you have back pains since there is no back rest but nonetheless, a great experience. They offer regular table and chair sitting though but to get the full experience, its always good to step out of your comfort zone once in a while

Lovely seating. They even have a portion with low tables and where you sit on the floor (area is raised and you have to remove shoes before entering). We got:3 Meat Okonomiyaki: taste never fails. Juicy and fluffy.Pork Yakisoba: subtle taste with an assortment of veggies. Can use just a bit more seasoning, though.

Not that good but not bad either. The ramen was a bit salty, the other one that we ordered ( see picture 2, i forgot its name ) is so expensive tapos ang onte. Customer service is ok, they're very nice naman, but there's nothing special sa food.

Dohtonbori’s banner product, Japanese savory pancakes, continues to get traction amongst foodies. They offer a stretch of options here with different combinations of meat, vegetables, and other premium ingredients. On this visit though, I veered away from the Okonomiyaki and went for Dohtonbori’s latest line-up of ramen in set meals. I got the three options, all at just Php 345 each. You can choose between Shoyu, soy sauce based, or my favorite Tonkotsu, a soup made up of creamy Japanese pork bone broth. The sides vary from Gyoza, Chicken Karaage or Beef Yakiniku. Everything comes with kimchi and fragrant Japanese rice topped with roasted sesame seeds. So affordable right? Not that hungry? The solo servings of Ramen are only at Php 190. Indeed, gone are the days of expensive, authentic Japanese noodles.

Today was Mom Day. What happens on such a day? Eat. Shop. Eat. That’s what we did. For lunch, Mom had their usual Sinigang na Bangus Belly sa Bayabas at Pinya at Mesa and I just picked on my Pomelo Salad. After, we proceeded to SM North Edsa where we did a few hours of purchasing stuff for the house and decided to head for home. But not quite yet. We passed by Dohtonbori on our way to the exit when I had this sudden craving for, what else, Okonomiyaki. Four Cheese, nothing but. It was a good seven minute wait for the Japanese pancake to cook when Mommy, who alone finished the Sinigang na Bangus Belly in Mesa, complained of hunger. This woman, who at the onset declared abstinence from eating even a portion of my beloved Okonomiyaki. In the end, we halfed the dish. My Mom hailed praises for the food and the service and made me promised to bring her to the UPTC branch very soon. I just nodded and vowed to order two next time.

Food portion is not bad, considering the low-tier pricing. Quality, however, is another topic.FOOD: 💛💛💛shoyu and tonkotsu ramen are so-so, but generously plated. pork kimchi was enjoyable to eat, both main ingredients complimented each other in taste and texture.AMBIANCE: 💛💛💛💛quirky and homey. the place showcased japanese culture very well through campy decors, unique dining setup, and oriental lights.SERVICE: 💛💛💛crew was accomodating and courteous but the place felt understaffed. it took about 10 minutes to get our credit card back after billing was processed.
