My gf wants to go to The Yard just because of Dip n Dough. And what she wanted didn't fail her. I was super delicious. Next thing i knew is that she was jumping of joy, thanking me for bringing her there. Will definitely come back for ya 😊😄

Eat their Mini Doughnuts while it's hot! It's really very good when it's hot especially when dipped in their OG Chocolate dip. In a few minutes, though, when it gets a bit cold, the doughnuts get stiff and the dip solidifies.I wasn't able to try the Chimney, their bestseller, because the wait time was at least an hour. Wow. I didn't seem to miss a lot, though, as it doesn't seem to be worth it.

I got the most raved about Chimney Classic in Vanilla. Mine tasted okay, I tasted chocnut on top of the ice cream (or was that cinnamon?) it gave a whole new level to the flavor. The bread was okay as well, it was rolled in cinnamon, it tasted stale though. I asked the crew to toast it a bit more but she just said "toasted naman po lahat", which was not even true. I came on a Tuesday night so didn't have to line up. Avoid going during weekends because it could be rather busy.

We ordered their bestseller, the Chimney Cream. It was a twisted doughnut, dusted with cinnamon sugar and topped with vanilla ice cream. The doughnut was more like a thick bread than a nice, sweet, soft doughnut. The ice cream was the usual commercially made. I find the bread thick and chewy. I like my usual crunchy cone or soft waffles ala mode.

Ordered their Chimney Classic - Vanilla Ice Cream served in a freshly-made doughnut cone stuffed with Belgian Chocolate and Marshmallows. I can tell why people want to try this despite the long wait (could take up to 30 minutes), it's very pretty to look at, (very Instagram-worthy) but to be honest, it was quite underwhelming. Vanilla ice cream was okay, I don't know how one can really mess up a classic vanilla ice cream. The doughnut was the biggest letdown for me. It was tough, chewy, and flavorless. The doughnut cone was sprinkled with some ground cinnamon and sugar but that's about it. The bread itself was very hard. Not sure I'm coming back anytime soon. For me, it didn't live up to the hype.
