We were rushing to look for a place to eat since the mall was already closing and decided to try the food here instead. The ambiance is indeed "dekada" and not in a good way. The lighting is gloomy and the music was painful to the ears since the speaker was broken. There were only w tables that night (ours included) and yet the waitstaff kept disappearing for who knows what reason. I initially ordered the sisig but upon seeing a bad review on website, I quickly had to look for the waitress to change my order (she was nowhere in sight). Another waitstaff then told me that it had already been punched in so it could not be changed and to that I answered "but it hasn't even been cooked yet" so they finally agreed to change my order. Here are the dishes we ordered:Baby squid p218 - cooked well, not tough and tasted quite nice Kare kare p348 - for the amount served, this is way too expensive. It was just filled with a lot of sauce and barely had any meat inside. Waste of money in my opinionBistek tagalog p289 - too salty, I think their chef doesn't taste their food before serving itBagoong rice p328 - this one I enjoyed before realizing how expensive it was! They didn't even have the liempo garnish (they placed bagnet instead). I felt that they didn't have a lot of customers so what would be their excuse for running out of stocks? They also didn't have any coke or sprite in stock which was kinda odd. Overall, I'd say that the experience wasn't totally bad but I probably wouldn't come back anymore.

Ambiance good for dates and private meetings with a nostalgic feel of the 70s. It takes a long time for the food to be served, about 15-20 minutes but it's worth the wait. Ordered dinuguan, tapa, chicken barbeque, and palitaw. Everything's on the right taste. On a heavy note, they lack the personnel.

In a positive note maganda yung restaurant. I wont recommend this to my family and friend. Reciept#0000007552

It's our grandmother's farewell party and it is me who decided to eat here. The ambiance is good, the theme is great, the service good, their menu is incredible (describing the filipino history). We ordered general luna's chicken, crispy pata, adobo chicken wings, kare-kare, laing, bulig, adobo rice, bagoong rice etc. So far all of them is good except the laing. Laing lacks taste. After that I ordered some dessert and surprisingly the plating is wonderfull. The Buko pandan crepe is good, and the taho cheesecake is very good! I will definitely come back next time with some friends.

I was amazed that their dish names came from our history. Here are the ones that we have tried:Dekada, Marcos, and Aquino. Bottomless iced tea, bottomless dalandan juice, bottomless mango juice. The iced tea tastes like regular powdered iced tea--not the house blend ones. The dalandan juice tastes fresh and sweet as well as the mango.Franciscano. Dilis rice. I think we made the wrong choice in ordering dilis rice for dinner. Salty but nothing special about it. I think it is best for breakfast.Kamikaze. Laing with shrimps. It has a bit of spice and looks blended. It only had three pieces of shrimp on top.Death March. Sinigang na spareribs sa sampaloc. Average sourness for sinigang, could have been better if it was more sour. Meat was tender. Our dining experience at Dekada was average. If I would go back, I might try their desserts. Though, I don't see the main dishes as priceworthy for the taste. FULL REVIEW ON MY BLOG

It was after getting pampered at Kitchenails with my friends that we decided to look for a place to have dinner that we haven't tried before. We looking for a homey place which serves rice (we were really hungry, then) so we ended up trying out Dekada. . Located at the fourth floor of Trinoma Mall, North Triangle, Quezon City, Dekada is known for their classic Filipino cuisines and hints of Philippine history from their interiors and dish names.

Disappointing serving. It's too small and not worth the price. I don't know if that's always the case when you order take-out vs dine-in.I don't recommend their kare-kare, pinakbet and beef salpicao. But to be fair with their staff, they're attentive and friendly.

For the first and only time that our family dined here, we all felt that the establishment over promised. Nice interior and amazing menu... But it fell short of our expectations in terms of taste, food quality and service. First, we waited longer compared with other customers (I supposedly have no issue with this so long as the food is worth the wait). Second, the tilapia in our Dinengdeng appeared overcooked, with the skin gone and the flesh shrunken. We immediately brought it to the server's attention. She brought our dish back to the kitchen, only to return saying that really happens because of how the dish is being cooked. Apparently, the tahong and tulya in the same dish had an unpleasant taste, indicating that these were not fresh. As if these were not enough, the Binusog na Pusit also seemed overcooked, my dad likened it to eating a shoe sole. The only redeeming factor was the giant halu-halo which had been true to its name.
