Dekada offers Filipino dishes that are totally considered comfort food and delicious. The place is really nice and inviting. The staff is friendly.

Dekada was my savior during the suspended class yesterday (September 15, 2014). I usually stay at Avida Lounge at Ayala Fairview Terraces during weekends and do my school/org works there. Unfortunately, I forgot the BPI Amore Card at Manila so I cant enter to the lounge. So I scouted at restos with sockets at Fairview Terraces since I'll be using my laptop and I need a socket to charge it if ever it runs out of battery.I entered Dekada and the waitress was very hospitable. She offered me the menu but before I check it, I asked her if there is a socket where I could charge my laptop. She hastily directed me to a table near the socket but is good for 4 people despite the fact that it was only my mom and I who went. It was a great service for me and I appreciate it because they prioritized me and directed me to a place comfy for me even if it would mean that I will use the space good for 4 people, meaning, it was quite risky for their sales. So I kept positive and just appreciated that they have a wide space and lots of tables so they could still accommodate more customers. :)It is amazing how they named their viands and desserts. It is very Filipino and historical. I ordered Proclamation No. 1081 (Buko Halo-halo Espesyal), Rolex 12 (Banana Langka Turon) and Dekada (Unlimited Iced Tea). Total Bill was 364.00 including service charge. I felt relieved and very satisfied that I didn't pay extra charges for the consumption of electricity for charging my laptop. The food was pricey but well-compensated by the good food, good place, good ambiance. I stayed there for more than an hour, surfing the net using their free wifi while enjoying my merienda and Dekada (Unlimited Iced Tea)! My stay here was definitely SULIT! ♥

Been eyeing this resto everytime I pass by Fairview Terraces and good thing my friend set-up a catch up session after work and the rest is history.AmbienceThis resto exudes an elegant dining place I can only imagine at Ayala-Zobel's. The muebles are so classy and elegant, old-richHispanic style. The lighting and the color of the room gives the illusion that the room is bigger that it actually was. This place is perfect for family lunches/dinners, even for couple dates. The place is as awesome as the food they are serving.Main eventAngus Beef Tapa (P278.00)Ensaymada at Batirol (P148.00)Bottomless Mango Juice (P98.00)WaterWe opted for their all-day breakfast in which includes Garlic rice and choice of 2 eggs or salted eggs. Juices are served in mason jars with cute paper straws! The beef is tender, though I needed to use a knife to slice it. Dekada is known to serve Hispanic Filipino foods so the experience wouldn't be complete if I didn't order their ensaymada and choco batirol, it was served warm and was such a perfect combination to end my meal. I haven't asked if they bake their own pastries or they have a supplier but I saw their pastry stand and cupcakes are available, too.Although the place looks like expensive, the prices are actually affordable and the servings are usually for 2 (disclaimer, depends how small or how big you eat, hihi). We only spent less than P900 for 2 inclusive of service charge.Time of visit: 13:30 14 April 2014

The food is very delicious except their sinigang should be paired with plain rice only not the other flavorful ones. Their adobo is sooo good! I just wish they add more aubergine in their ensalada because I only saw few pieces. And yes their giant halo-halo is really a giant one! Plus it has a lot of ingredients so it's a must try! Will probably go back for their meryenda buffet. Btw their staff are all friendly and accommodating too!

My Family and I ate in this branch the day before Christmas. I like the food but the service is worst (knowing that we paid for the costly service charge). The manager of this Branch (Erin) has a very negative mood. I asked her why our orders had taken so much time before served and she responded so stale. She is not attributed with proper attitude as a manager.
