Dairy queen, no doubt about it, is also another one of those great dessert places. Aside from being really affordable (compared to other dessert places), they also have really nice flavors and toppings you can choose from. The only thing in this branch that I don't like is that its too small, and line is always long.

Dairy Queen is my all time favorite dessert place. One of the few places where you can really get what you expect and I love it when they introduce new Blizzard flavors every once in a while. This branch has limited seating capacity so it's often full and you can also expect long lines at times. Nonetheless, I think their products are still worth your time and money.

Double Dutch Blizzard and Strawberry Milkshake --- that's what I always order from DQ. It's creamy and milky and very flavorful. When Dairy Queen first opened in Metro Manila in the 90s, it was a little bit expensive but after 20 years, it's still the go-to ice cream place for Filipinos. There's always a line whether it's December or the Summer months.

If you are an eighties kid, like me, you would have heard of the myth that Pop Rocks (the amazing fizzy candy) plus soda causes the stomach to burst... Supposedly, a kid in the US skipped a meal and ate Pop Rocks with soda... The urban legend says that the acid in his tummy, combined with the carbon dioxide from the soda and the fizzy candy, had an exothermic reaction causing his tummy to burst!😦 It was a good story for scaring kids into drinking less soda and not consuming as much Pop Rocks as they want...Fast forward to today... Dairy queen is offering this fizzy treat with their vanilla soft serve ice cream and strawberry syrup-- into what they call Frozen Sparkles!😍😍😍 It promises three childhood faves in one treat... I had to try it, out of curiosity! It was awesome!💞💞💞No one can go wrong with DQ's soft serve ice cream🍦! The strawberry syrup already makes it delicious... But the Fizzy Candy just added a new dimension of flavor and texture that was an added mind trip! the fizzy candy is so much fun to eat, adding different sensory layers to the ice cream... Eat it like a kid, listening to the candy pop in your mouth! it really brought back childhood memories, including that urban legend!😅FYI: The Myth Busters did a segment on this particular story... They filled a pig's stomach with hydrochloric acid (to simulate a functioning human tummy), soda and Pop Rocks... The stomach swelled, but it did not burst! Myth officially debunked!😃

Nutella Cheesecake, Cookies and Cream, Strawberry Banana, Orea and DQ ice cream cake is really worth a try! ❤️ The sweetness level is just right. Will definitely go back over and over again if i crave for ice cream.
