This is more dangerous than texting. That was my thought as I ate my Chocolate Almond Blizzard while driving back to work. Over the past 8 years, I have, on occasion, gone down the street to DQ for an afternoon treat. While it's not gourmet ice cream, it will still get the job done relatively inexpensively.Another all-time family favorite is the Chocolate Extreme Blizzard (I think that's what it was called). It's essentially chocolate chunks, brownies, fudge, and syrup in chocolate ice cream and blended thick. I still order it when I do find myself at a DQ (which isn't as often as it used to be). Ice cream cakes are also available in their freezer display. This particular location is always crowded... but it's because space is tight and groups of people come in at once. The best thing about them is that they are FAST. They take your order, and before you know it, your order is ready for pick-up.All in all, there are plenty of places to go for desserts: Cold Stone, Red Mango, Milk Cow, etc. You name it, and there are more cold treats available now than ever. But, if you ever want a place that tickles the nostalgia and brings out your inner teenager, come down to Eastwood Dairy Queen and enjoy the younger you once more.

If you want some sugar in your system, I say head right on to DQ Ice Cream! It'll tickle your sugar buds just right!Just across the event center of Eastwood City Walk, you'll be lucky to have a glimpse of celebrities or stroll along Eastwood's usual tiangge withe your favorite cup of ice cream flavor. My favorite is the mud pie where you have all the chocolates in this world. I also love their ice cream cakes and my personal favorite is the Oreo Cake!

Always loved Dairy Queen's Blizzard - especially the Strawberry Banana Blizzard. Aside from that, I also love their plain ice cream and ice cream cakes!! Actually, I would eat anything made by Dairy Queen ;)

I luuuv DQ!! I always get the KitKat Blizzard with vanilla icecream although the chocolate one isn't too bad either. It doesn't help that I'm lactose intolerant but I wouldn't mind dying in the name of food. Literally.

MUD PIE. Surprised to see that they still offer this. It's my all-time favorite Blizzard flavor. It's chocolate and cookies ice cream with a hint of coffee flavor. Just perfect. Made me happy after a not-so-satisfying meal.May 2018: I’m updating my review for Dairy Queen at Libis. We’ve been there several times and the place smells awful -it smells like old & dirty floor mop. We can smell it the moment we go inside the store. We really wanted to buy but we just lose our appetite each time. Hope they can do something about it.
