When I went here last year, the cupcakes I ordered were stale as if they have been on the shelf for days. I was disappointed as my friend said that the same cupcakes on another branch were so good.

This Monkey banana cream pie is worth to try for! Its like a banoffee pie but in a cupcake style and its so damn delicious! I have 3 major favorites now! Smores, redvelvet and monkey banana 😍

This is by far one of the cutest cupcake stores that I've ever been, great ambiance, cute interior, nice place to have chitchats with friends. And a very cute and delicious cupcakes of course! Their dishes are quite good too.

VIEWS: 2,038 times (and counting..)Cupcakes are one of my weaknesses. I tried a lot of really good cupcakes made by many different friends of mine. I seldom visit cupcake shops. I have heard of Cupcakes by Sonja years ago pa, but never tried their cupcakes yet... Not until today. Finally!!! I find their cupcakes really good. Not too moist, not too sweet. One cupcake will make feel full already coz it's not filled with air. Some of their cupcakes have surprises inside and it's a "plus" for me coz I love surprises hahaTheir branch in Trinoma is just really tiny but they decorated it well so you won't really find it small. The place is really cute and my friends and I enjoyed our chit chat there :) They also have really friendly staff!!BTW, we were able to enjoy our cupcakes coz of the Belle de jour coupon that I have so we got 2 Free cupcakes after buying a box of 4 cupcakes. Hihi

By far the best cupcakes I've tried! Red velvet is just perfect and I can't get enough of it. I guess the price is reasonable because of its taste.

This is my go-to place for a cupcake fix! Any sweet tooth craving can be fulfilled here. They're quite generous when it comes to the sugar in their cupcakes and milkshakes so be aware of this when you order. I also recommend their best-selling Red Velvet Vixen and the S'mores Tart.This particular branch in Trinoma is but a tiny space next to Havaianas but make sure to dine in if possible. Their interiors really reflect the sugary sweet goodness of their desserts. However, this not the place to go to when you're on a tight budget. The cupcakes and drinks are a bit pricey but nonetheless reasonable.4.5/5. Would recommend!

Had coffee with a friend at their branch in trinoma. Glad there was a table available. It's a small place but cute quirky interior. I love the clear glassware they used to serve coffee and milk. We ordered the rainbow cake and the lemon cupcake. Both were good. Coffee very is good too. Price is within standard. Staff are attentive enough and polite. Overall it's a good place to chat.

We hesitated to stay or buy anything here due to the leaky ceiling pipe splashing water all over the floor near the cupcake display... I should have listened to my instinct! 😤Due to the great experience with their Coco Loco, my liking for Sonja's was rekindled... My bf asked if I wanted to hang out in Sonja's... I wanted to try their Lemon Drop again, years after... It was the flavor that first turned me into a fan... 😁So, I ordered the classic pairing of lemon drop cupcake with their latte for P140 while my bf got the Berry Delight Strawberry cheesecake with an espresso for the same price... They don't have a soy milk or nonfat option, FYI to those who are lactose intolerant or watching their weight... Lol, then again why eat a cupcake if you are on a diet...😜 The berry delight was okay but so small for the price... The Lemon Drop, on the other hand, was dry and waaaaay too sweet! 🍋 what happened? 😥Maybe my last visit was a fluke... But they should at least fix the leaky pipe! Eeeeew!!!I'd go for Gigi's, Cupcake Lab or Frozen Desserts if we are talking about cupcakes... Unless the Coco Loco is available!😁
