Chunky clam chowder - rich, creamy, with all the right textures and flavors.Taco salad - fresh, bright, and crunchy. Not heavily overdressed, properly seasoned. Apetizer platter - fries - crunchy, properly seasoned, soft inside, laced with parmesan and truffle. Wings - hickory, sweet, smokey. Onion rings - crispy, needs a little bit more onions. Spicy tuyo spaghetti - the 'spicy' part is upon request bt there's a spri kle of heat. Pro tip: ask for lime on the side. Seafood cream pasta - must. Try. Get. This. You know that pasta you can't seem to get enough of? This is that!6 hour roasted U.S. Roast Beef Belly - I have suggested they rename this "Oh My God." It's that good. It crumbles under the fork even as I prepared to slice it. It's flavorfully savory with all the right notes. U.S. black angus rib eye - please do not ask for gravy on the side. Please do not ask for well done. Trust that the way the chef cooked it is the right way of enjoying the steak. Please eat as recommended. You will thank me later.

Chanced upon Steak Cafe one night. Who doesn’t like some good meat when you’re hungry?Ambience was nice - cute hipster, modern and industrial. Service was quite fast too and the servers were accommodating. We ordered the mushroom soup, beef salpicao and the cow bell burger. The mushroom soup was a good start. It was presented nicely and we had high hopes for it. It was delicious but was a little salty. Sad that a proper burger bun was not available, but the server was quick to give us an alternative, which we agreed to since we wanted to try how their burgers were. Burger was cooked well but in terms of taste and presentation, it did not exceed expectation. The fries that went with the burger were also nothing to be celebrated. Nothing special about the burger. The star of our orders was the beef salpicao - meat cooked perfectly. The sauce was also a little salty, but I liked the saltiness. It made he dish hearty. The buttered vegetables had too much butter but I appreciated the cook of the meat so much and the quality, even for salpicao, that I did not mind skipping the vegetables. Price of food isn’t too high. You get what you pay for considering the place is still in the CBD. Overall, for us, the place isn’t bad but it also isn’t great. We would go back though just to have a go at their steak dishes in the hopes that these can turn a rather mediocre experience to something more noteworthy. If their steak dishes are their main specialty, then maybe the cafe should just stick to serving these.

The name Cow Bell Steak Café does ring a bell, since I have passed by it numerous times when I pass through Jupiter in Makati. I am thankful that I was given the chance to sample their dishes, which are listed below:Appetizer Platter (₱350)Onion Rings, 8 pieces Wild Wings, Parmesan Truffle FriesA crispy feast. I normally avoid onion rings, but this version and its spicy mayonnaise was a jolt to the tastebuds. I was craving for more afterwards. The Wild Wings was milder in comparison, but it will still be good for those looking for some heat. And I also tend to avoid anything using truffle oil, but I am glad that the Parmesan Truffle Fries focus more on the Parmesan cheese for cheese lovers like me. Chunky Clam Chowder (₱190)This mild, creamy soup is best enjoyed piping hot. I enjoyed how thick and creamy it was thanks to the potato chunks, and how the black pepper and seasongs give it just the right amount of zing. Taco Salad (₱200)The addition of whole cheesy tortilla chips to the salad, combined with the ground beef, cheese, and cumin, made this dish enjoyable for someone like me, who tends to avoid salads. Spicy Tuyo Spaghetti (₱240)I love a good oil-based pasta, and I appreciate this one in particular. It gives the right amount of heat, and the garlic and capers give it a more distinct, earthy flavor. The tuyo gives it that extra salty bite to contrast with the mild noodles. Seafood Cream Pasta (₱380)While I am not a large fan of cream-based pasta, I did enjoy this one. The salmon on top was pink and soft, and the cream sauce was not too milky in taste. This is a favorite for me. 6 Hour Roasted U.S. Roast Beef Belly (₱420)Beef belly, mashed potatoes, red wine sauceThe meat is still pink, yet it is so tender that it can be cut with a fork. The taste of wine rounds out the savory taste of the meat. To balance it out, the mashed potatoes, the tomatoes, and the green beans are there for additional texture and taste. U.S. Black Angus Porterhouse (₱1,700)The highlight of the meal is the porterhouse, with its overflowing juices and tender pink meat. Best enjoyed by spreading the mound of herbed better on top to melt it on the meat before eating. Tiramisu (₱120)Creamy, chocolatey goodness. There are some chocolate cake bits in the center to give texture and make this wonderful dessert more filling.

It's been 30 minutes since we orderd and we are still waiting for our food. Only 2 tables plus us. One table has left done eating and the other is almost done as well. We sent several not happy looks over the counter where there are 3 guys and their manager I think is standing. Not one came over to apologize the food is taking too long. Not happy. Not amused. I don't think I will even be staisfied even if that steak tasted superb. How can you be happy eating in a place of no customer service at all?

Steaks Anyone? We couldn't move on from a delicious steak that we had from last week. So, Again, we want to eat steak and try from different restaurant. Cow Bell Steak Cafe, is just few minutes walk from our place along Jupiter Street, Bel-Air, Makati City. They have elongated space which can cater  around 20 to 30 pax, just a simple restaurant and nice place.Let's go their MENU...To start off.. We had crunchy Onion Rings with thick batterNext, we had our Truffled Mushroom Pasta- this is indeed living up, simply delicious taste. And ofcourse... that most anticipating part-- U.S. Angus Ribeye 10oz - Me and my partner was quite disappointed with this one, it's out of our expectation. It's just didn't met the standard of our taste. Overall.. still a good experience trying out their food Read full post on : nehemialiew27@wordpress.com

It was a late Sunday afternoon. The perfect lazy time after church. If a signage is a tell-tale sign of whats to come, you wouldn't expect much. All that shifts to a much better foreboding as you peek outside looking in. It suddenly turns into a clean, inviting albeit small strip of aligned and most likely architecturally planned seating. One of the wait staff readily seated me and handed down the unassuming menu.I haven't exactly made up my mind yet, as I had to take into consideration their cost. It is one of the more budget friendly I spotted so I gravitated towards the vongole (P220)-savoring in my mind the last I had at Peperoso (several other choices of pasta at same range, the seafood and meatballs at P320+).The lamb cutlets looked real interesting. I however opted for the baked ribs (so I can move on from the "bitin" one I had at casa Italia).Right choice! The ribs definitely delivered. Fall-of-the-bones good. I must say that the reduction also was very good and complimented both the meat and the mashed potato where the ribs laid. The size wasn't as exciting though at P520. Had I not ordered a pasta, I would've called for garlic rice (which they have!).The vongole could use a little more wine and a little more creaminess (the oil was good though - neutral in taste, so I still scooped it out with the bread). It was overall very pleasant and I already am hoping to be back again this weekend (they most likely get busy during weekdays).

My wife and i had this place by ourselves last night and we were a bit hesitant in what to order. We had the bistek filipino (they had no beef steak for the night), baby back ribs, their own caesar salad, cream of mushroom soup. We were half through our meal when another couple went in. Boy, we had a huge satisfying dinner delight. Ordered for to-go a truffle cream pasta, herbed chicken, and their very own cow grill bacon-mushroom burger. We'll definitely come back for their steaks. It's a just right value-for-money foods. Two-thumbs up...hoping for a consistent delicious serving. By the way, a 4-star rating for the staff.
