Dark chocolate creamery goodness. Well you can't go wrong with dark chocolate. My usual basis for a good ice cream/gelato is their vanilla flavor, my favorite. I tried theirs, and it is bland for its price point. Hence I rate it a 2.5 cause I find it expensive for it's quality. Also, the ambiance is this branch is not so good. Noisy and warm temperature. However, the staff is very polite and accommodating.

The typical comments about the price is always in our heads, but eh, it's anyone's choice or not to buy. But anyway, my ultimate favorite flavor from theirs is Butter Pecan. I'm a bit disappointed with the Vanilla because it's my ultimate go-to flavor and it didn't quite had that much flavor to it. I tried to savor the French Vanilla one but it tasted very faint. The dark chocolate one is good. But next time I'll probably get a tub of Butter Pecan, Jesus. I don't care about those calories anymore.

I love Cold Stone and I don't understand why people don't go here more. The Ortigas branch is practically empty on a Sunday and the store is near the entrance. It's the first thing people see while they still have money. The price shouldn't turn people off. It's worth it. Cold Stone ice cream is like DQ's when they first started, only better, and people lined up for blizzards. The staff does everything to please customers. They put on a performance, for Pete's sake.

This is my second time trying their ice cream. The first one was in SM North Edsa, I ordered the Founder's Favorite. It was served quickly and creatively (After they mixed the ice cream they gave my boyfriend, now husband :), the empty cup and told him to get ready to catch... The "flying" ice cream, good thing that he did catch it. Hehe). The taste was awesome btw. Now, on my second time, I had the Peanut Butter Cup Perfection at their Robinsons Galleria branch (minus the "catching act") It was good (delicious) but I find it too sweet. Better have a bottle of water ready if you'll eat this baby. Nonetheless, I'm still eager to try out all of their Signature Creations. :)

So they dance sometimes and throw ice cream at you if you want to. I asked what happens when it falls? They replace. Quite an interesting way to get more customers to experience something different. So Cold Stone enables you to combine different ice cream flavors and fix ins together through a 'cold stone'. On my trip here, I decided not to and just place their best selling Salted Caramel Chocolate, Mint ice cream with Blueberry and Strawberry beside each other. I just felt it would be weird to have them together. Don't you think so? Anyway I felt like a kid again while I was walking back to my office. I love the Mint and the fresh fruit toppings. The Salted Caramel Chocolate was more like Salted Caramel Vanilla though.

Cold Stone's Mud Pie Mojo is a rich and indulgent marriage of Coffee Ice Cream, Oreos, Peanut Butter, Roasted Almonds and Fudge that we totally fell in love with. Hubby and I couldn't stop raving about it. The generous serving was enough for us to share.Sad though that there wasn't any "ice cream acrobatics" like our last visit years ago and the ice cream seemed soft and melted. We were very careful with the plastic spoons that looked like it could snap at any moment.Despite the minor hiccups, i'm sure we'll be back for more deliciousness.

I opted to go here with my boss in order to meet up with some partners. When we arrived, the music was blaring which we normally wouldn't mind (ang Tita lang!). All the flavors on offer were variations of chocolate as they were having a chocolate festival. I opted for a chocolate cake batter flavor with some pecans folded in. It's a good thing that I finished my ice quickly as they were quick to melt in the summer heat (yes, even while inside the mall!). I found my sweet treat creamy, richly chocolatey and quite decadent.
