Tried a random resto using the recommendation of website. Ended up here in Cold Spot Cafe. At first, we felt that it wasn’t a safe place to be but getting inside, they actually lock the doors and you have to ring the door bell to get in. I liked the interior of the place, like a usual cafe with good framed quotations on the wall. Servers were friendly. The service for the food was slow though. Food was okay. From the pictures, the menu was deceiving and looked very generous. But when we ordered, it was not as expected. We ordered the following: 👉 Salisbury steak (P205) - i was not expecting that it was a patty (sorry for not asking). Anyway, it was well seasoned, juicy but a little bigger serving won’t hurt. It was pricey given that its size. Loved that i paired it with their very garlicy rice. 👉 Pork Katsu (P190) - partner had this. It was dry and was small than expected ( waitress said it was gonna be big). The java rice served with it was just “colored” rice and no aroma or taste was emitted. We also ordered some milkteas as dessert. But it took too long to prepare and it wasn’t good enough for the wait. 👉 Creamy Taro milktea - just okay. Not that good and not that bad. 👉 Wintermelon milktea - too sweet for my taste. Maybe it was the wrong choice of food items that we didn’t enjoy our visit. Hope they improve and not give false hope on their serving. 😉

Been seeing a lot of posts about this café at Facebook and I finally gave it a try. I only ordered fries and milktea.Cheese Fries, Small (Php 95): It's too pricey for a plate of unsalted fries and the condiment is just like any ordinary ketchup which is sad for me.Salted Milk Caramel Milktea, Large (Php 100): They said that this flavor is their best-seller so I decided to give it a try and it is indeed delicious! It removed my disappointment from the fries lol. 🙈The staff were nice, but it would be better if they are suggesting some food choices while people are thinking of what to order. I recommend dining here if you want to chill and relax for a while.

Everything is sweet. Carbonara is sweet. Gravy is sweet. Yes, GRAVY is sweet. That's about it. If you like everything sweet, then go ahead. Def not for me

Came from a sponsored food trip and felt we needed more sugar. So going back, we chances upon this dessert place in a street that I've never been to. The owner of the massage place beside and this restaurant is the same. Maybe sip on their milkshake while having a foot spa a superb idea? The price points are on the high side for its interior. The Hazelnut Caramel was at Php 135. It was creamy but it way too sweet for my liking. It seemed half of it was sugar. Their Churros was covered with too much whipped cream and its actual portioning was too small. Its taste however was quite interesting. The place also offers savory dishes like Chicken Parmesan, Pork Katsu, Lasagna and Nachos. Yep, it's a series of cuisines.
