I had a few hours to kill by myself and I am forever thankful for these rare moments. I decided to spend it drinking coffee, one of my favorite things in the world. I decided to go back to Coffee Empire--confident that enough time has passed from a previous embarassing situation. 😜I wanted to try something "adult" in my eyes. I usually go for mocha but somehow recent events has made me lose fondness for the drink. Besides, I apparently need to nix milk if I'm truly going to go on a diet. Goodbye latte, so long cappucino. Fine, Americano it is. I should have gone for the latte.I have nothing against Coffee Empire; I'm sure the Americano was good. It was full bodied and bitter and totally not suited to me. I'm more of a milk, cream, and flavored syrup kind of gal when it comes to coffee. This incident made me realize that no matter how "adult" you become, you are still you. Quirks and all! So, to hell with my diet. I'm sticking to my coffee-- we go way back...🙃

Nice ambiance especially at the rooftop area. Good food and coffee. Nice place to hangout and chill with friends, family or by yourself. Prices for the food are not that expensive. The crew were very helpful and friendly too.

Went here to do my HA debate presentation and review with my friends. Found a table good for 6 people, i asked one of their staff if my friends and i could occupy it... since i know, usually coffeeshops like this strictly maximize the use of tables and chairs... kuya said, yes. So i occupied the table, brought out all my things (laptop, reviewers and etc) and waited for my 3 other friends. While waiting and browsing their menu, the kuya asked me to transfer to a smaller table, which really irrates me since ihave already settled my things there. But i dont have a choice, so i just followed him. I ordered Iced latte, and was enjoying my coffee until I saw a fly floating in it. Wasnt shock at all, since the last time I went here (circa 2014) also found a fly on my drink. 😔😔😔 but the bartender was good enough to change my drink, free of charge (well it is supposed to be really free) and I appreciate the effort 😌The comfort room is not as classy as the one at Amor (pastry shop/ cafe near ust) but it has the basic necessities ( tissue, bidet, etc) Plus its clean and tidy. 👏👏👏Place is spacious, good for studying, or chill with friends. It was raining when i went here, but the management did well in maintaning a room temp environment. Not too cold and too warm, just okay for my liking. 👏👏👏
