We haven’t had breakfast so we were looking for a place to have brunch. We just chanced upon Cocoy and so I had to check website on what’s good to eat here and was amazed that we seemed to have missed out on this gem!Place has an old school nostalgic feels of a typical fast food before. Food was great! Hubby and I loved their Pares, he had it with Pork Isaw and Balat called Halo Pares. Sisig was great too. We’d definitely be back.

The best place for beef pares. I know some of you will react "there's a lot resto that offers better pares". Yes, I know. And I don't care. For me, Cocoy's is like a time machine. It brings back good memories.I discovered this place 20yrs ago when they had a branch in Culiat, Tandang Sora QC. I was skeptic at first because the store's appearance was not that appetizing. I've been hearing from my college roommates that they have the best pares in town. That made me believe that it is. You won't feel the "Cocoy's experience" without trying their beef pares with fried rice (it comes with chopped scrambled egg) with huge amount of garlic on top, and a pares soup. I suggest to order an extra rice and a soup. Honestly, i haven't tried other food on their list. Only pares.I gave 4.5 rating because they never expanded since then. The Culiat branch is already closed. I hope they can put up another branch in the south area (Alabang). For now, I am willing to travel 50km just to get here and if there is a chance to go on the north side, I'll make sure to visit this place.

If you're looking for affordable yet yummy steak, this is the place to be. Very yummy and has a big serving for their meals. The ambiance doesn't look like they serve average steak and you'll be skeptical of it at first. We haven't tried eating at the establishment, we always do take out because it's always crowded when we go there. Their Pares is also good and Mami. My hubby always buy me T-bone steak here when I was pregnant.
