A simple looking restaurant at UP Ayala Techno Hub. But don't under estimate the food they serve. My rating for the ff:Place 🌟🌟🌟🌟Spacious and well ventilatedStaff 🌟🌟🌟🌟Polite and acommodatingFood 🌟🌟🌟🌟Since I went there on a Monday, they have a promo of free Teamarind iced tea for every purchase of their fish meals. I ordered Fish Fillet and 1 pc Spicy Chicken. The reviews are true, there is something different in their chicken, and the simplicity of the pepper gravy sauce. The fillet is soft and light battered. The only thing I did not like isbthe Teamerind iced tea, a little sour. Price 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Very affordableOverall rating 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Place: Big and nice. Mirrors the interior of Army Navy.Budget: 150php good for one. This fast food Resto is one of the most go to place of employees.Because the foods are within the budget limit. 😊They have very tasty Chicken but their chicken has so many pepper. I know it gives the chicken their delicious taste but it is just to big sometimes! Haha! This is also the place where you can have your sossy GG or Galunggong. But their GG is one of the most expensive food they have that you can already buy 1kilo of GG in the market with their price! 😂Anyway I love their chicken! 👍🏻😊

For some reason Ive always thought that coco hut was somekind of native cupcake place/cafe. Ive seen several branches of theirs but never really thought of eating there (the colors of the brand does have an effect). I thought the branches Ive seen were not kept well and were too cluttered. Alas I chanced upon a branch of theirs in Diliman that was spaceous enough. It had an airy feel to it, with a native minimalistic hue. I order their spicy chicken thigh meal. It was fried well and the meat was tender but it wasnt really spicy. It was drenched in Chili oil but it never really permeated the meat. To start with the oil wasnt spicy as well. The gravy gave the peppery spice to the dish. The clam chower was decent it wasnt restaurant quality but it was hearty and filling and had generous portions of shellfish meat.

The place is clean with minimalist approach design style. The food could be better. The chowder tasted good with fresh ingredients, although there's something lacking. Similar to their Munggo, it didn't quite capture the home cooked aura you get from your mother's version. The crab cakes were a bit disappointing. So thin and hollow inside. The dessert, ube with langka ice cream, I must say, is a must try. It's not too sweet. The crown jewel would have to be the ice cream. Although the ube seemed like the ingredients used were not high quality. Overall the experience would have been better if the prices actually matched each dish in terms of flavor and portion.

The chicken is good, i'm just not a fan of peppered gravy. House blend iced tea, cream dory and macaroni salad is definitely a must try in this place!!!!!! 😋😋

My husband discovered this place when we stayed in a tea house in TechnoHub. On weekdays, mornings, TechnoHub is like a ghost town. There aren't so many people there except for call center employees staying on Mini Stop. We love those hours since we have the whole CocoHut for the four of us.We've tried their Adobo Flakes and their Longganisa Vigan. Both are delicious and we will be going back to this place again and again. The adobo has lots of garlic, the meat are juicy and tender and garlic rice tastes awesome. The Longganisa is the best. They are cooked crispy but soft inside and they are very tasty. Perfect with some spicy vinegar. Looking forward to try other Filipino food at this place.

Been here a lot of times now. Serving portion is good. Staff are friendly. Fast service! I'd recommend their kani cake, fried chicken, calamares and teamarind.

Full flavored fried chicken together with classic filipino sides like monggo, bamboo shoots, laing, kalabasa and a cup or two of rice?! Yes please! Samahan mo pa ng Sotanghon, Adobo, galunggong, etc. These are all dishes we grew up with and is a treat to find all of these in one shop. Good job!

I love how cocohut value branding without compromising quality. That ability to serve the unexpected from what is expected. There is nothing really fancy with their interior, but I'd say that on a positive note. A pale shade of wood and the strength exuded by the colors of concrete. It's like a kubo and a building fused to display simplicity and intricacy at the same time.As for the foods, they are impressive. They are not over the top, only that unpretentious type of goodness. The poor man's fish was my favorite. Galunggong fried to achieve that crispy goodness garnished with onion chives and siling labuyo. A few drops of their soy vinegar sauce and you might want to attack the food with your bare hands with one leg up your chair. It is also served with a soup they call the coco squash, interestingly grainy by texture but lacks seasoning. Not bad, but certainly not my favorite. Nothing much to say about their calamares. Descently fried but nothing much going on in terms of the breading used. The coleslaw isn't impressive as well, though It worked in neutralizing the after taste of labuyo from the poor man's fish. We've been curious about their curry and tipsy mussels so we've tried them both. Curry mussels just had the right amount of curry powder not overpowering the taste of garlic, onions and mussels. Tipsy mussels, on the other hand, missed to highlight wine that should have been a surprise. It was almost like eating the typical boiled tahong that is decently flavored. Yes, it wasn't a disaster but to have something short from it's potential can be frustrating. Barbeque is good. Pinoy style marinade, sweet and flavorful. Could have been better if the pork is more tender. We also had cream dory which was perfectly fried and descently seasoned. I actually love their teamarind. It's like bringing the authentic taste of tamarind from the past to match today's commercially available iced teas.In general, cocohut is something to consider as a good alternative to the more popular fast food chains in the metro. If you want to experience the nostalgic feel of provincial style goodness in food without having to travel hours on the road, this is the place to be!
