I love this place especially their Grilled Chops Steak! Very affordable and satisfying. The coleslaw tastes fresh as well as their other veggies. The ambience is great and they have a TV (though muted) on both floors. The service is good as they make sure you have water always. Every table is complete with sauces -  ketchup and hot sauce (which is perfect for the fries and chops). Their burgers are special and tasty! You definitely have to try their wings, too. It can get a bit cramped during Friday nights and service gets understandably slow. But most of the time, they meet your expectations. Food is always cooked fresh which may take time but it's worth the wait. The great thing about them is that you can pre-order if you're stuck in traffic and want to eat as soon as you get there! We were a bit hesitant at first but we called their number (which you may access online) and asked if we could pre-order and they said yes. Great service. :)

Used to be one of the best burger joints in QC. Quality seems to have gotten down these past months. The burgers still tasted good, but everything else about it wasn't. The patties seemed dry and crumbly; they're always out of arugula (as in always—might as well take it out of the description), fries tasted like old fries, and everything just seemed smaller.Utensils felt cheap, but they have quality condiments like Tabasco and Heinz ketchup, which is nice. Place is okay, it has ample (shared) parking spaces, and the interiors look okay. It was a bit difficult to call for a waiter in the second floor, but aside from that, service was good. Can't really recommend them now what with the high price tag and degrading quality. Lots of other places to get better burgers in QC, anyway.

This is my family's go-to dinner place.Ambiance:The place is small but with seating upstairs. It is a simple joint, straightforward with wooden tabletops and wrought iron chairs. I dislike the mounted flat screen displaying telenovelas though.Service:Our favorite server is Mel who is cheerful and makes you feel very welcome. But in general, the servers are very attentive and know the menu well.Food:This place is one of those hidden gems wherein you get the most bang for your buck. Their Butcher Steak and their Baby Back Ribs are our staple family orders. Individual preferences include Sam's Blue burger, their legit corned beef and bacon, hot flaps, and twister fries (McDonald's has nothing on theirs). You really get bang for your buck here as they don't scrimp on anything.

The burgers are delicious. Sides servings seems more that it's price. Worth the money. Great for midnight snack! 👏🏼Been there twice within a week.

Among all the gourmet burger joints in Manila, Chunky Sam's proves to be the best one .... Hands down !!!! Believe me, I have been all over and tried almost all kinds but this place really stands out ! They indeed serve the best burgers in town as they only use certified Angus beef (which they freshly grind everyday) and complemented with their home made sesame seed buns. You can never go wrong with a classic tasty Angus burger up to the more signature ones like Sam's blue (blue cheese/mozzarella), Burger five-o (love the spicy sriracha sauce), Greek burger (good combo of aragula/feta cheese) to a delightful four cheese burger overloaded with cheddar/mozzarella/jack/parmesan.Other non burger creations worth coming back for more are the Angus corned beef, hot flaps - aka own version of buffalo wings and the savory baby back ribs !Do check this place out and you will not regret it !

Not my first time here but since I discovered this place, it had been my go to joint when I crave for tasty, juicy, mouth watering burger. Just love the good food and ambience of Chunky Sam's. Aside from my burger madness, my other faves are Chunky Sam steak (another specialty of the house) and fish and fries. A must to visit when you are around the QC area. I highly recommend you check this place out. Gotta try baby back ribs next and hot flaps. Can't wait for my next visit😊!

The burgers and fries were spot on considering the price. Service was good and the crew were friendly. Its just that, for a diner you should have desserts for your menu.

had a try with their bacon n 'shroom burger...1/3 patty with smoked bacon, mushroom and sharp cheddar...paired with red iced tea, pepsi product...all in all...good burger, with very nice fries...good value for your money...however, service is too slow...seems they really take their own sweet time...they gave the burger after 45mins....wait is longer than consuming the burger...the picture of the burger in the restaurant is different from the actual...the picture is much more appetizing...

Chunky Sam's at Chimes Square on Congressional Avenue Ext. serves 1/4 lb, 1/3 lb, and 1/2 lb Angus beef burgers, lamb burgers, shrimp burgers, and a staple set of breakfast-all-day items. The up-and-down restaurant is family and date-friendly,with a large flatscreen TV on the ground floor. It subscribes to the rustic wooden furniture, food-on-chopping-boards look. While prices are on the premium side, one should note that their burger dinners come with a glass of soda (or iced tea), and a pile of fries, at no extra cost; add P30 to make your drink refillable.I've had their Greek burger, a beef and lamb premium 1/3 lb combo, and boy, was this nice. Simply sprinkled with feta cheese and a leaf or two of arugula, the Certified US Angus beef, Australian lamb beef patty mix was a satisfying bite. Their burger tasted slick and warm from the grill, laid on a buttered white-and-black sesame roll. Same goes for their bacon mushroom melt beef burger sandwich, a 100% US Angus beef patty covered with thick smoky bacon, also grilled before serving, lots of chunky mushroom bits, and a cheesy sauce. This was delicious enough to be eaten like a steak on top of its bread! Look out for seasonal additions, like their new Chipotle Burger. The lamb and shrimp burgers are on the menu since May. This restaurant, like others in the complex, accepts orders till 11:30 pm on most days. Parking is decent for the expected number of diners coming to this area.
