This is my first time to dine in here. Food we ordered is okayI like their tinolang manok which is supposed to be native but it isn't. 😛 their buttered shrimp is half cooked it doesn't taste like buttered garlic. Their grilled liempo is so good, I personlly recommend it!!! It is so tender and it melts in your mouth! 😍 for drinks, we ordered mango basil shake, and it's a thumbs up!! But hey, they have a lot in a menu so I guess I will visit them to try other viands.

Tried it in SM Lanang in Davao. We ordered Chopsuey, Lechon Kawali and the famous Salted Egg shrimp in a bag. I like the flavorful taste of salted egg in their shrimp. Pwedeng pang sabaw sa kanin. And it's legit salted egg there's a bits of salted egg. Not the usual salted egg that they are just using a powder mix. It is also good for 3 persons. And you will literally licked your fingers because it's so malasa. Other food are good too. Very sulit and delicious.Staff are kind and will give details if you asked something on their menu. The place is very spacious.

This has become our family’s go-to place whenever we crave for shrimps or seafood. Less expensive than the other restaurants but tastes the same and probably even better! Our usual order - their choobang and butter garlic flavor. Not a fan of their calamari, but the baked scallops are the best too!

This has been my family’s go-to place for some crustaceans. My grandparents are a bit choosy with their food so it means a lot when I say they often go back here. Though I did notice that the service started going down after a while and the management might need to fix that. Food was decently priced.

What you should order:  grillled stuffed squid, black pepper shrimp (or any of their shrimp dishes actually), stir-fried tao miao, steamed pampanoDon't order the native chicken (too skinny!), the sinigang sa baboy (home cooked is always better), or the giant bamboo clams (overcooked, too tough).Servers are very friendly and accommodating.  Place is clean and bright.  Best value for shrimp dishes.

Had dinner here last night (Valentines) with family. The food were so-so. I don’t know if its was just my tastebuds but for me the seafood bag (good for 5-6 pax) was a so-so. I like the chorizo in eat by the way. The crispy pata was good — the meat was so tender and the Halaan Soup was good too! I just hate how we waited for so long to be seated. We were told that we will be waiting for 15-20 mins but I think it took us more than 20 mins and for the orders took so long to arrive. I understand that it was so hectic yesterday given that it was Valentines so I hope that doesn’t happen during ordinary days.

Choobi Choobi is a Cebuano Restaurant. I was really happy when I learned that they already have branches here in the Metro. So here’s what we ordered:1. Saltes Egg Shrimp in a bag - This is a must! It is well coated with chunks of salted egg and I’m not sure if they cooked it in butter but nonetheless it made my tummy so happy. It is served generously too. I literally had to lick my fingers after taking pieces of it. It was that good.2. Grilled Pampano - I forgot to take a photo of it. Anyway, it is well done and the best thing? It was fresh! I think they just put salt into it, but it was really good. It felt like they had just caught the fish and grilled it.3. Choobi Pata - the sinful crispy pata. 😂 It was good too. Perfectly crisp on the outside, it wasn’t oily too. It was so juicy you’ll even forget you need to watch your cholesterol intake. 😝4. Bulalo - Definitely a taste of Cebu. Not too salty, but it’ll keep you coming back for more. Ambience and Service : There weren’t many people when we dined, it was spacious enough and the servers were kind to walk us through the menu and even advised us of their best sellers.Value for money : It was a little bit pricey, but I guarantee that the price is worth it for the taste. If you are a Cebuano/ Cebuana, this restaurant makes you feel at home because of their dishes.

My family and I have always passed by this restaurant but we never ate until last night when we all craved for seafood (crabs and shrimps specifically) so we decided to check this out knowing crabs and shrimps were their speciality. We tried their snow crabs ( very expensive 1,300 pesos) and sadly it was not cooked properly however the shrimp we ordered was okay and had the right amount of spice. The crispy pata was also okay nothing special. What surprised us was there halaan soup which I sadly forgot to take a picture, the shells they used were so huge! We also really enjoyed the tao mien veggies ( as seen in the picture) It was light yet perfectly tasty! This chain is surprisingly a very popular food chain in Cebu which we only knew when we saw the other branches in their placemat. They said that the real best seller is their salted egg shrimps so we should’ve ordered that so do order that when you visit this resto!
