I had been here on their soft opening day( a year ago?) And I found they are underestimating present eaters gastronomic judgment. Most of the eaters nowadays can discern if they get their money's worth for the food served to them. Chingkee is not generous in their serving size.

Walking inside Ching Kee Beef Noodle is like entering a restaurant in the streets of Hong Kong, the arouma hits you right away. You have these elevated scents of star anise, and other herbs. I recommend trying their special shrimp wanton which they do home made, its full of shrimp and has a kick of spice when you bite into it. It's easily my favorite wanton of all time, have this with a bowl of steamed rice or a side of beef noodles, Their broth is also good but the wanton is really the star.

The great wontons are a must try (learned that these were homemade), the noodles are soso, but the broth is really good too. I will definitely be back.

I ordered their special shrimp wanton noodles, beef brisket platter and wintermelon tea and I would say that everything was superb! Their special shrimp wantons were full of shrimp meat and the beef brisket was tender, just the way I like it cooked. The broth was also rich, one would know that real meat were used to bring the tastiness of the broth. I love their wintermelon tea as you can taste the real wintermelon and it's not too sweet. Not to mention, their chili sauce is homemade. If you are a chili sauce lover, you would definitely love this! Overall, the food was amazing and the service was excellent (the owners were hands on - thumbs up on this). I will definitely come back and try the others on their menu!

So curious about this noodles resto so after I had a massage along d. Tuason I drop by here for a take out I ordered the beef brisket and goto noodles and shrimp wanton platter. The noodles cost 210 while shrimp wanton cost 280 prices is not that affordable with the small serving. The soup is a little bland. The shrimp wanton is superb but expensive at 280pesos for only 10pcs.

This is how a traditional bowl of beef noodle should be! not too flavorful. the beef is soft. I would suggest eating there while the food is still hot. but since the place is small, you might have to do take out. just make sure to reheat the soup when you get home to fully enjoy it

They say it only takes a taste to know that something's special and that's what I felt with Ching Kee's noodle bowls. On my first trip there, we asked the servers what their specialty was and they recommended their Ngau Chap noodle bowl. The light and clear broth, and firm noodles they use is a perfect comforting foil for their mix of offals (tripe/goto, small intestines, liver, and tendon). Offal is admittedly not for everyone but the way this place prepares it makes it taste clean and very very pleasant (not too weird-tasting). You can tell that they know how to prepare this stuff. But if offal isn't your thing, you can always try their wantons and beef brisket. On my second trip there, I ordered the plain pork wanton noodles (Php180) and a plate of God help me melt-in-your-mouth beef brisket (Php280) to share. Dip that in some chili and you're golden, like my feelings for this lil noodle joint.

You'll get a very nostalgic feel before you enter this place. The smell coming out of the vent is much like the ones I encounter on my trips to Hong Kong whenever I crave for a wanton noodle soup. I ordered shrimp wanton noodle. I'll say the best part of it is really the shrimp wanton which is wrapped in wanton skin with perfect thickness. The shrimps are very fresh and tasty; and it had great balance with the soup. All in all it was a great experience. Ching Kee helped took out that craving I always had for the best HK shrimp wanton noodle.
