Stopped by for dinner wanting to try something new in Banawe. The exterior of the restaurant was quite inviting so we decided to give it a try. They were still on soft opening. We tried their set for 2 with the Chef’s Noodle, Fried Chicken, Grilled pork. The Chef’s Noodle being their supposedly best seller is a big disappointment. Soup tasted old/reheated and the noodles were overcooked & soggy. Fried Chicken lacked flavor and was overcooked. Didn't have any hint of being Korean. Grilled pork - had no taste at all. It was not marinated. The dipping sauce was too watery that it wouldn't cling to the meat. The leafy lettuce for wrapping was served dripping wet. I heard that this was a Korean Franchise so it got me wondering how the food came out to be this bad. The only thing good was the service. I didn't have the heart to tell the manager truthfully how disappointed we were with the food because she assisted us very well.

On soft opening. Should we still push through despite the "warning?" We did.📌 Set Meal (Grilled Pork | Chefs Noodle | Korean Fried Rice | Iced Tea)📌 Samgyupsal (Marinated pork or beef from their menu which I can't remember) ✌🏻️Frankly, the grilled items are just average. Sides: hard boiled eggs in soy sauce (Jangjorim), some shredded cabbage in soy sauce (I don't know the name) and kimchi. Plain. But by far the biggest disappointment is their best seller chefs noodle 👎🏻 it taste like bean sprouts in a soup. Its overcooked as well.Service -- kudos to one of their Managers, a lady named May. She is very accommodating, customer service oriented, she appreciates feedback professionally (yeah we told her we don't fancy their chefs noodle)Well, it may not be something to go back to (for us) but if you're looking for korean bbq/dishes on a considerable price then give them a visit.

It's my second time to eat here. Chef's noodle never fails ❤️ their gochujang samygupsal is the best! Thou it's thinly sliced, it's really good for a 255 pesos. PS. One of the best korean restaurants i've ever tried in banawe
