We used to buy from Causeway Congressional Avenue branch so I know their food tastes good. Last New Year's Eve, we ordered via phone and picked up our orders at around 4pm (they only allow delivery up to a certain area). We had : Lapu-Lapu Fillet with Taosi, Steamed Suahe and Braised Noodle with Assorted Seafood. The shrimps were very fresh and the fish also tastes great. I originally wanted pancit bihon or canton but the staff said the braised noodle is their version of pancit. It was really saucy unlike the usual pancit but I liked it and it's full of assorted seafood toppings. The Small serving for their food is already good for 2-3 persons. They also have bigger servings - great for gatherings and the like. Food was also on time even if it was a busy day for them.

The hours are incorrectly listed for this restaurant since this place actually opens at 11am on weekdays. Anyways we were some of the first customers that morning and they rolled a dim sum cart next to us which had about 7 dim sum options available right away. The menu had many more items listed but weren't available on the cart and we were told theyhad to be prepared individually. Alas, no chicken feet were available that day. We tried the pork spare ribs, siomai, japanese siomai, siopao, and seafood rolled in lettuce. Portion size here was decent as each piece was meaty. The pork spare rib serving and taste was better than places like Tim Ho Wan. Taste here was fairly authentic but dim sum dishes were a bit oily. Free Chinese tea is served which is a nice touch too. All in all it's decent dim sum for manila but nothing amazing. I'd probably come again since they have a 50% off some dim sum items after 9pm and from 2-6pm.edit: Have gone back here a few times since posting this original review and the congee here is really good so i'm bumping up the review score.

1 pt for the staff, they are very prompt and very well mannered. They serve food without having to wait too long.1 pt for the price. Simple, you get what you pay (or even more) plus they offer their dimsums for P58 from Mon-Fri within a specific timeframe0.5 pt for the place. The place was really neat and tidy, the restaurant itself can easily be spotted as it is just along Libis. Tables are well cleaned, and soy sauce, garlic, napkin, and toothpicks are already on the table. What took me away was the restroom looks like the restroom needs some cleaning and some redoing. The door is already decaying, have a bidet but no tissue, (you don't expect someone to pull up their pants after bidet) it was like a different place once you entered the bathroom, and what concerns me the most is that their restroom is just beside their kitchen. Definitely their restroom needs to be cleaned from time to time. 2 pts for the food as it is served freshly cooked, their dimsums are being served on the spot, there's a trolley going round with all their freshly steamed dimsums ready to be steamed. Their dimsums are really good and you can taste the pureness of their ingredients. Their fried chicken tasted really good and very crunchy. What I liked most is their Garlic Shrimp, they serve really big shrimps and tastes really good. I say, tastes of their food is enough reason to visit it.

FAB Rating = 3.5(F)ood = serving here is always filling. The regular size can feed 2 to 3 men or 3 to 4 women :) Cooking time os very short and the taste is as expected. Their hakaw is very tasty, while the salted fish fried rice is a food that can be eaten on it's own. Some dimsums are already discounted come 9pm on weekdays. You will definitely go back because of the food ;)(A)mbience = typical Chinese restaurant. The servers are quite noisy which feels like you are in a house. The place is not that neat but they are fast enough to clean after every eating.(B)utler Service = the waiters are rowdy but attentive. Service is fast and they give you exactly what you want.

They open at 11am and not 10am, the restaurant should update this. Very inconvenient to wait. Why would their store hours changed without updating their online information!!?? Poor service.

Food portions are generous for the price. Taste is okay, nothing really stood out. Service however needs a bit more improvement. Servers are talking to each other from across the room. For the number of staff available, service should have been better. I was told twice to wait when I was about to order (mid sentence, mind you) then the server walked away.Overall, still a good place to take a large group of people because of the serving size and the price.

This has been my officemates’ go to place for celebration for more than three years. Over all the food is delicious and the prices are fair. Before we tend to go beyond our weekly allowances for our regular dine but since we learned from our experiences we already know what to order. Here are the food list you can order if you are budget constraint and you will be treating your barangay:1. Yang Chow2. Calamares Salt and Pepper3. Beef Brocolli4. HoFan5. Causeway Fried Chicken6. Minced Spinach with Seafood - pls ask the waiter to serve this first para busog na agad sila. Wag mo ipapasabay sa mga orderFor Dimsum:1. Beancurd2. Chicken Feet3. Spare ribs4. Siomai Crab RoeNot advisable to order:- Noodle Soup , hindi kasi nila forte yan promise- Siopao, hindi ko rin nagustuhan hindi masarapHappy eating! Kudos sa owner na napakabait at kay Ate Melody. Btw, best time to dine is 11:30am para konti pa tao at 9pm kasi may discount na sa dimsum.

Not bad. My favorites are the calamares and the Causeway Fried Chicken. The complimentary tea was also good. It took them forever to serve the Yang Chow fried rice and the spare ribs, which we just cancelled. They also took some time with the bill.

Went here for dinner. The place was full but luckily a table or 2 had just been cleared so we got a place right away.We ordered a bowl of Shrimp Wonton Noodle Soup and 2 orders of Steamed Shrimp Dumpling (Hakaw) and drinks.I was wondering why my sister only ordered one noodle soup but she said the servings are good for sharing. And yeah, it was enough for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 kid). There’s even an extra bowl of soup and we managed to finish it as well. The noodle and the soup is nice that our kid cousin likes it so much. I prefer rice over noodles but it is delicious so I enjoyed it.The hakaw is the main reason why we chose this resto. The hakaw has lots of shrimps inside. Yum Yum Yum! Unlike other restos that has thick wrapper outside and a little shrimp inside, Causeway had it full packed. Definitely better compared to others. They also serve free tea if you ask for it. It’s just that they gave me the tea that is no longer hot since the teapot has been given to another table before us.It was a bit hard to call the staff since most of them are staying on the other side and I noticed that they don’t really like to smile. Hmm.~Well, for the Hakaw, and to try other dishes, we’ll come back.

Have been there twice, ordered prawns Hakan, both the times the coating was ray and the prawns I side were not very fresh, ordered for veg fried rice and to our surprise the rice was raw. The fruit shakes were nice and refreshing overall not very good experience.
