i'll be brief. the restaurant is a complete letdown. the steak is only available in one temperature - well done. the service leaves a lot to be desired. train your staff...

Surprisingly great paella considering the 3.3 rating (at the time of writing), with lots of toppings and a superb flavor. Gambas was also good, shrimp was cooked perfectly.Would definitely be back to try the other paella variants.

As a Gen X-er, Casa Marcos is a familiar "face". For millenials reading this review, Casa Marcos is a traditional Spanish restaurant that will satisfy your cravings for Lengua and Callos. They are also best known for their Paella and pandesal. I remember in the 90s when my friend's mom would call 2 hours ahead to order their bestselling paella just in time for their family dinner. So for Father's day, feeling nostalgic, we decided to give this classic place a try since they opened near our house. Waiting time wasn't bad considering it was a father's day weekend. We ordered ceasar salad, Lengua, fish moliniere, saffron paella and Spanish chicken. For 4 people (1 senior) our total bill was only P2,100 and this is with a take home of 1/2 chicken. Our verdict? We just rediscovered a wonderful place to satisfy our paella cravings.Service was brisk and attentive. Though there was a strand of hair on our salad, I'd let that slip because the wait staff were quick to apologize & change our salad to a new one. I don't know if it's because it was father's day, we were in high spirits and didn't want to make a big fuss.... or maybe because the food was THAT good that we were forgiving. I swear I'm normally not that forgiving with hair or bugs on my food. But maybe it's because of their yummy pandesal that they served piping hot as soon as we sat down....Ambiance, their interiors are simple and I can see that they've somehow modernized and cut back on their furniture. I actually don't mind since the price and ambiance are somehow equal.Anyways, overall it was a good experience and we will surely be back for more good Spanish food....And maybe by that time I'd be able to remember to take photos!

Good food, service and pleasing environment.Obviously, their Paella is a must try but you can't go wrong with their seafood and meat options as well. The food here is really filling and worth the value, however it is relatively expensive and not recommended for people saving.

We are suckers for restaurants with history. But 1945 could also be the year the ox tongue on our plate was harvested. Baboy damo tapa has better quality, but ineptly seasoned. The pandesal though is a work of a master
