So after my dumplings adventure, we headed to Congressional Ave. to try Caffe La Tea. They started along the busy street of Mabini, Cabanatuan City. After seeing several branches, I get to taste what Caffe La Tea offers. Upon entering the Cafe, It is well decorated, I like the ceiling. The place can accommodate around 20-30 pax. "Tambay all you can" if you have something from their menu.

This coffee shop is pretty good as it provides good food and drinks for the price and I really like how it provides free wifi and they have sockets for you to charge your devices. They first served us with their Okinawa Salad and Asian Salad both for Php 180. They're light on the tummy and very yummyThe pastas came next - Creamy Chicken Pasta and Wild Mushroom Truffle Oil both for Php 185 and both were pretty ok though I prefer a little more flavor and Gambas and Mushroom for Php 175 which was good as well. Crispy Binagoong Rice (Php 119) caught up and it was well balanced. Cheesy Beef Nachos was great and it had a huge serving for (Php 180)Lastly the Sisig Rice for (Php 119) was a winner and a lot of my friends really liked it. It's great to hear that they have a sizzling version. Drinks!I had one of their Mangga Milk Tea which was pretty sweet. I'm a fan of their "Perfect Matcha". It had a kick to it and it wasn't too sweet. This is a good place for busy bees to slow down and do their work. Give it a try

We were able to taste their food and drinks here at Caffé La Tea and I would say I am willing to come back since it’s delicious and affordable. What I ordered for the drinks is their Mocha Blend, I really liked it because it’s not that sweet and the espresso taste is not that strong which I really like. For the food, I was able to taste their lumpia (my favorite), sisig, and pork chop.Their LUMPIA is my favorite because there’s a lot of vegetables inside, it’s crunchy and it goes perfectly well with the vinegar that they served. I REALLY LOVED IT. Their SISIG was kind of sweet and it’s crunchy, it’s good and it’s served like 1cup of rice then 1 cup of sisig on top of the rice. It’s cute hahaha. They have sizzling version of the sisig too. I liked their PORKCHOP too because it wasn’t hard to chew and it was kind of sweet and not that salty.Their service was great, the staff were attentive and friendly all the time.

They have a wide option of drinks. You'll go crazy choosing your drinks. From hot to cold beverages you'll still don't know what to get. What I recommend and What I already tried are*Ice Caramel Macchiato. It is beautifully presented drink. They will serve it gradient looking drink. Caramel, milk, and the espresso shot.*Cheezy Beef Nachos. The nachos are very crisp and very cheesy.*Vegetable Lumpia. I love the vinegar and the Lumpia cooked very well.* Salted Egg Chicken Wings. The chicken is very juicy and it is perfectly flavored.*Sisig Rice. It is addicting and definitely be back for this. Very perfect.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time but there were always lots of people but luckily this time, there weren't much. The place is organized and simple. The servers were nice. We tired their chocolate rock salt milk tea which was okay plus their Oreo cupcake which was also nice. Their pu erh tea and it was tasty and different. Their Mojos were also good. I just hope their wifi would work next time plus their prices are way cheaper compared to other coffee and milk tea shops!

Been here almost everyday. They got good and affordable food, welcoming guard and friendly staff. I love the sinigang, bicole express and the cabanatuan sisig for the rice meal. Creamy chicken pesto and the spicy shrimp pasta are for the win. The nachos and the cupcakes are incredibly delicious as well. You should try their CLT houseblend coffee and the variety of their tea.

We ordered 2 frappes, a clubhouse sandwich and an oreo cheescake cupcake. The frappe was great. Clubhouse sandwich could use a tad more toasting on the bread. The oreo cheesecake cupcakw was very sweet and it feels like they used some gelatin or something because it was denser than any other cupcake I've tried. One downside as well was their outdoor seating. There's only 1 table and a lot of flies are flying in there.

One of the best cafés in the neighborhood because of its ambiance, price, and quality. There's parking for customers. And most of all, you're going to love the wide coffee, tea, milktea, ans food choices.

The first ever branch was built in Mabini, Cabanatuan City in July 2012. They offer a wide range of drinks from coffee (Php 60-Php 155) to milk teas (Php 74-Php 155) to even fruit teas (Php 55-Php 119). The choices are endless. For their milk tea, I just feel they aren't as generous when they come to black pearls or jelly. I've tried this place before and it's still the same. Like one teaspoon of pearl per drink. Maybe it's just me. Not only do they have drinks they offer delicious affordable meals. Their salad were fresh and light. Great appetizer to start your meal: Okinawa Salad (Php 180) and Asian Salad (Php 180).Sisig Rice (Php 119) - MY FAVORITE! I couldn't stop eating it. Malamis lamis sisig! They also have a sizzling plate version. These pasta dishes were creamy but somehow lacked flavor. Needed more seasoning: Wild Mushroom & Truffle Oil (Php 185) and Creamy Chicken Pasta (Php 185). As for Gambas & Mushroom (Php 175), it was seasoned just right. Liked the shrimp was fresh too. Crispy Binagoong Rice (Php 119) I liked how the binagoong didn't overpower the viand it was there to add flavor to it and enhanced it somehow.  Cheesy Beef Nachos (Php 180) and Deviled Tofu (Php 145) are perfect for sharing and with a bucket of beer. Salted Egg (Php 199) it was tasty due to they sauce they used and it's nice take on salted egg flavor. My only issue was they only have cash payment method. I really prefer credit card. I don't like bring cash with me around.

I patronize coffee shop chains just as much as most people. My big issue is that they are almost always crowded. That's one of the things I liked about Caffe La Tea in Congressional Ave. There's parking and the space is cozy. It's not a big place but the space gives you a feeling of relaxation vs. the never-ending buzz of chain coffee shops. I tried out their milk tea and I have to say that they can compete with the best Taiwanese bubble tea shops. The big bonus here is that they serve a large selection of food. There are even rice meals and pasta dishesbthat can really fill you up. Even if it is technically a cafe, their kitchen serves up full-blown meals like a proper restaurant. We tried their chicken wings, vegetable lumpia and salad for a light afternoon meal. Those who were hungry had some sisig rice. There is definitely something for everybody here! Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.
