First of all the place is wonderful to look at and the cafe has a sunny and cheerful vibe. The colors go well together and the funny eating food quote on the wall that is quirky and sassy. I have eaten in this cafe countless times and the staff is always attentive and polite. They do take note if you have specific requests on how you want your food to be served. Let's now go to the food. My all time favorite would be the fish florentine in white sauce. The fish has no weird aftertaste and the texture is firm how a good quality fish should be. I recommend that you add hot sauce to this because it will cut the creaminess of the white sauce and the combination is just perfect. Another would be their pizza toast. The bread is so fluffy and soft plus you add the cheese and the butter. That is fatty heaven right there. For the vegetarians they do have salads to chose from and I do recommend the one with walnut and dried cranberries with feta cheese and a lovely vinegrette. To wash it all down I always drink my go to Hot Macha Latte. To the matcha lovers this is worth every penny. I seriously can say this is better than what you can get in big coffee chains here in the metro. Till the next food adventure. Domo arigatou!

It is my second time to visit this inviting little cafe in The Block. I commend the food as usual but please remember to give table napkins and dining knives to your clients without them asking. But overall, im happy to be back and will be coming back for more 😉

Good food + good service. We've tried their Lemongrass chops, crispy pork thingy and ferrero something dessert. (Sorry, I'm quite bad at names) They serve their entrées fast. I super love their dessert! We'll definitely go back here. ❤️

This place proved to be a peaceful oasis for me amidst the hustle and bustle in SM North. The Crispy Pork Belly in Kimchi rice that I ordered was a perfect fusion of a Filipino and Korean dish. And in terms of value for money, this place was worth it. I was willing to gamble a bit more considering the ambiance but was pleasantly surprised that their prices were reasonable and well within my price range. This is a place I feel comfortable in eating out despite being alone. I'll definitely be back to try out their desserts next time around.

I've seen Cafe Shibuya before and thought it would be just one of those typical Japanese restaurant that serves maki, sushi, katsu, ramen and the like. When I finally got to try it, it was a new take on Japanese restaurant.I ordered Glazed Beef Tapa with Onion rings. Who would've expected a Japanese place would serve a Pinoy dish? How did it taste? It was delicious. The tapa was tender, and sweet. The rice tasted like Japanese rice...the ones they used for maki. It's quite good actually. The onion ring has a dip too, it tasted like mustard but not that sour. Everything in this dish was delightful. But what really stole my heart was their Dessert Toast. We ordered Salted Egg with Cheesecake Ice Cream and it was just heavenly. In the middle, there's that gooey custard-like taste filling with a hint of saltiness. The ice cream wasn't sweet at all so all ingredients blended well with the dessert. What makes it even much better, cafe latte on the side. Perfect!
