Calligraphy Workshop at Cafe Mithi Last October 8, 2016, my cousins and I signed up for a Basic 3-in-1 Calligraphy Workshop (Brush + Watercolor + Pointed Pen) at Cafe Mithi. The workshop fee is P 2200/person inclusive of the following:• 3-hr workshop session • Complete workshop kit (all materials, handouts, and practice sheets for take home)• Soft copy of practice drills• Food and drinks++ Up to 50% discount on succeeding inhouse workshopsThe workshop was handled by the cafe owner, Pao. She was very accommodating and patient in teaching us the basics of calligraphy. AMBIANCE Since we were early for the workshop, we decided to check the small cafe first. The place was so cozy that you would want to stay in there for hours. The walls were decorated with calligraphy done by other students who attended their previous workshops that you'll get inspired to learn right away after seeing the artwork of other people. FOODAs for the food we were only able to try their signature hot cocoa, ALAB (cacao tablea + siling labuyo) since we were quite full with the packed lunch provided for us. I loved the rich taste of this hot cocoa. It was impeccable. I would not mind going back to this nice little cafe and try their other house specialties. SERVICE The service was exceptional. The staff were very pleasant and were nice enough to take our pictures. It also did not take them long to prepare the drinks we ordered. The owner, Pao, was helpful and encouraging as well. Looking forward to visiting your cafe again soon!

PLACE - I liked the ambiance. We sat on the 2nd floor and the capacity is limited but i liked tho 'cause it's not crowded. Airconditioning is good as well. Interior is quaint and unique. Artistic.FOOD - Tried their best seller ALAB (hot choco + siling labuyo) - its my first time to try a spicy drink. Im a fan of chocolate and have a high tolerance of chili but i didn't like them together. I wasn't able to finish it all. Sayang. 😂. I ended up drinking my friend's order, LOCAL HOT COFFEE. 👍 We also tried their SALTED EGG PASTA, it's good for 1.. tasted like salted egg but it would be much better if they will add Curry Leaves>>please. 😅 The ENSYAMADA - just an ordinary ensaymada.

So me and my workmate decided to eat here because it looks a bit small and the name caught our attention. The interior was amazing! Eventhough it is very small, It has a very inviting ambiance around it. The second floor feels like home, not to mention the mini third floor where there is large pillows that you can relax to.So we've ordered few items here to help us energize with the work.MASAGANA was good but a bit oily. Good thing they are freshly fried when presented to us.😃The CAFE LATTE is also enough for me to be awake to work. So much for that, I think I'll be coming here next tine just to relax.

Lovely coffee shop for a small group of friends or colleagues. Very well made desserts and breads. A good spot to have the Maginhawa experience.
