Where Beer Pong in the Philippines began.Cable Car has been swinging around the nightlife here in Metro Manila for more than two decades now. Yep, two decades guys! They’re well famous for bring in Beer Pong in the Philippines, and it’s something yuppies of all ages enjoy anytime of the day. Here in their Tomas Morato branch, they have 4 tables for everyone. We definitely enjoyed this! This is something we can not do with other bars we definitely took advantage to try out one session.Cable Car has been in our minds when it comes to beer pong and drinks. But do you know they offer really good meals as well? Here are the stuffs we’ve tried so far:Grilled Cheese Sandwich (P245) – stacked multigrain bread with oozing grilled cheese in between made a good impression on our first Cable Car Tomas Morato visit.  It’s served with generous amount of honey, a lot of honey actually. On the side, they also put in a small bowl of tomato soup, which we took advantage to dip the sandwich for extra flavor.Pica-Pica Platter II (P695) – Cable Car packs a very diverse menu. Don’t know what to order and too lazy to check out each and every dish they offer? Fret not, they have three different platters. Yay! We’ve tried the Platter II, which we think has the best value when it comes to price and quantity of foods included. It has BBQ Chicken Quesadilla, Onion Rings, Crispy Fried Tapa, Potato Wedges and Caesar Salad. Also served with BBQ Sauce and Ranch Dressing.Smoked Fish and Salted Egg Pizza (P525) – Okay so whoever invented this combination is a genius. Who would’ve thought tinapa, quesong puti, salted egg and tomato makes a good pizza toppings? Hailed as The Filipino Breakfast Pizza, Cable Car did make something for the adventurous website.Heartbreaker Pizza (P495) – Our classic pizza toppings favorites in one – bacon, ham, burger bits, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Not sure why this is called the Heartbreaker Pizza but it definitely mend our broken hearts. Lol, kidding. It was good, one of their bestsellers.Tomato Soup (P145) – creamy and chunky tomato soup topped with croutons. We can’t get enough of this tomato soup. Love those huge chunks of tomatoes  and how it was made so creamy and thick.Caesar Salad (P225) – romaine lettuce leaves drizzled with caesar dressing, bacon, tuyo, croutons and parmesan cheese. We find this a bit expensive for the serving size. We wanted more greens, to be honest. The toppings kinda overpowered the leaves.Cable Car Rice Bowl (P195) – chicken and pork in rice, stir-fried with their secret recipe and sunny-side-up egg on top. The bowl was so festive, both on the looks and the taste. This one’s a bowl worthy to carry their name.Sisig Rice Bowl (P225) – classic sisig mixed with rice, also topped with sunny-side-up egg. This one boosted more flavor than the first rice bowl, all it’s all because of the bold taste of sisig. The rice mix itself can already be another dish and we wanted to pair it with more plain rice actually.Spam Rice Bowl (P245) – hand-battered spam on a bed of garlic rice, sunny-side-up egg, garlic confit and atchara. All Spam lovers, this one’s for you!Salpicao Pasta (P325) – mildly spiced and garlic-punched salpicao tossed in fettucini. And sunny-side-up egg as cherry on top. This one has a very aromatic and bold flavor, the beef chunks were all so tender and has this melt-in-your-mouth goodness.Long Island Iced Tea (P230) – a medley of vodka, gin, tequila, lime and orange. Alcohol here was so distinct so we got to have this last for a while.Amaretto Sour (P200) – sweet and sour, almond-flavored cocktail. We always order Amaretto Sour when it’s available in any bar we visit. It’s one of our favorite cocktails and Cable Car carried on in having quality cocktails, custom and original ones.Btw, they have lots of promos each day, just ask any of their staffs. You might score buy 1 get 1 deals and discounted beer pong sesh that day! So yes, ask away!Value for money: Worth it!! Fun and homey nightlife vibes awaits.#DateForTwo at Cable Car

The place is so chill after midnight. The drinks tastes so good too. A must visit place when you wanna have a drink. There’s beer pong and its so cool. It’s not too loud here so you can chitchat with you’re friends while having a drink.

They offer a wide array of drinks that you could choose from which is very cool especially if you’re with a group of friends. The place also has a separate room for beer pong 👌

The staff is very accommodating and friendly! I personally don't like the midori slush that much; it's more of a spiked cucumber juice for me. But I love the white russian! It's smooth but with just enough alcohol; like Bailey's.

Server was friendly but she serves us Nachos but we didn’t order any (though we remember mentioning it when we were still deciding what to order). It has lots of meat and toppings so it was ok. We didn’t cancel anymore since she might be charged for it. My Heartbreaker Pizza was not served, they might’ve forgotten. Gripman Burger was described as having Pretzel Bun but hubby said it looks and tasted like the ones from Angel’s Burger. The Liter draft SMB Pale Pilsen seems a bit diluted since it was missing that certain kick you look for in a beer. Overall, it was a good thing that our server was pleasant but we were not impressed with the food.
