Originally, we were supposed to eat at Kamay Kainan but, unfortunately, they were closed for good. So, we headed to Cabalen for some thrift Filipino buffet lunch.I wasnt disappointed because their Kare Kare was delicious, I guess I can compare it to Barrio Fiesta's Kare Kare. My guy liked the seafoods very much! The place isnt that big and a little bit crowded during peak times so, u have to be mindful of ur things. I just got upset when I was about to get the fried kangkongs but, all of a sudden, they took the whole tray without giving me regard (my hand was literally on its way to get one). Such disrespect lol. Other than that the service was okay.Update! we went back again here after a few months for our FIRST ANNIVERSARY DATE pt.2!Date of Visit: January 15, 2018Same review as stated above but this time it was not crowded because maybe it's a weekday. lol they also change some of the food tables before and it's better because there were more space now. Luckily, only few people were there when we took a visit. Food and services are great. Place is small, they should rearrange the tables so it would be more spacious for guests(e.g. some eight-seaters are on the corner that makes it hard for guests to make it in and out of table)

Kare kare is the bomb!! With an affordable price of eat all you can meal, you can enjoy a variety of Filipino foods with a bonus of some foreign foods. Aside from the kare kare, I really loved the Laing since it really tingles my tongue, the taste of gata and the leaves were very outsanding in my mouth. Those were just my highlight foods since the other viands have just some classic tastes.

I was expecting more from this resto considering how long they’ve been in the biz and of course, #KapampanganPride.Unfortunately, it was just not up to par with its competitors. When we first entered this branch, it was dazzling with mirrors and crystal chandeliers everywhere— a stark and classy contrast to wooden furniture. As impressive as it could have been, our experience just didn’t cut it.The food was lacklustre; it didn’t taste bad, but it wasn’t very good either. The sisig we ate had too much liver on it, while the Kare-Kare barely had any meat, and the rest I’d rather not try. Their famed krispy kangkong was okay but nothing special. The only thing I liked here was their Arroz Caldo and their customer service. It was pretty decent. All in all, Cabalen offers very limited dishes and the fact that you have to add 100 pesos for unli-drinks was kind of annoying. Why is that a choice? Shouldn’t that be part of the deal already?if you’re looking for good Filipino food, I highly suggest you just check elsewhere.

Food is very bad as well as the staff they are not attentive at all and the customer service was so poor. Not accomodating. False advertisement. dishes are not really more than 50 but is says on their menu board they have over or at least 50 meals. Very untrue, and very disappointing. They have no value for their customer's money, effort and time. Will never come back on this place.

We ate in CABALEN TRINOMA LAST SEPTEMBER 3,2018.. around 7:45 pm..we are a group of 8. We are very, very DISAPPOINTED of the food served in the buffet. First, we have to ask repeatedly to refill the kare2 because its all sauce and no meat! Then, the sinaing na tuligan are all head parts and left overs! They said it’s no longer available!!!We ask what would be the substitute for it since the food served are so scarce! “Wala daw!!!” Very few varieties are served! And very small portions! The “lechon” is like scraps of fats and little meat. We are very disappointed and when I asked for the manager, tha waitress said there’s no manager! And to top it all, all the food are dead cold!!! If they have no more food to serve especially the so called “specialties” of the House, they should have warned us at the very least! that it’s all there is so that we will not be expecting for refills!! And we haven’t started eating yet, mind you!!!😡 my family whom we treated who came all the way from abroad was displeased with the kind of service you have.. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO YOUR ADVERTISEMENT SAYING” over a hundred SELECTIONS to choose from?”We could have chosen other restaurant but because CABALEN is very filipino, we want to treat our special guests to a feast of genuinely filipino cuisine... nagkamali ako ng pagpili sa CABALEN. We went home disappointed, angry and hungry.😒

The food in Cabalen Trinoma is sumptuous and the price is cheaper for a buffet. 2. The most tasty, friendly and beautiful buffet restaurant for family, friends and love-ones. Try it, you will like it.
