Originally, we were supposed to eat at Kamay Kainan but, unfortunately, they were closed for good. So, we headed to Cabalen for some thrift Filipino buffet lunch.I wasnt disappointed because their Kare Kare was delicious, I guess I can compare it to Barrio Fiesta's Kare Kare. My guy liked the seafoods very much! The place isnt that big and a little bit crowded during peak times so, u have to be mindful of ur things. I just got upset when I was about to get the fried kangkongs but, all of a sudden, they took the whole tray without giving me regard (my hand was literally on its way to get one). Such disrespect lol. Other than that the service was okay.Update! we went back again here after a few months for our FIRST ANNIVERSARY DATE pt.2!Date of Visit: January 15, 2018Same review as stated above but this time it was not crowded because maybe it's a weekday. lol they also change some of the food tables before and it's better because there were more space now. Luckily, only few people were there when we took a visit. Food and services are great. Place is small, they should rearrange the tables so it would be more spacious for guests(e.g. some eight-seaters are on the corner that makes it hard for guests to make it in and out of table)

Kare kare is the bomb!! With an affordable price of eat all you can meal, you can enjoy a variety of Filipino foods with a bonus of some foreign foods. Aside from the kare kare, I really loved the Laing since it really tingles my tongue, the taste of gata and the leaves were very outsanding in my mouth. Those were just my highlight foods since the other viands have just some classic tastes.
