For lunch, my co websites and I had the chance to try out dishes from Burgoo. Burgoo stew - combination of pork, chicken, beef, with carrots, peas, potatoes tomatoes, garnished with green beans, corn and parsley. Serving size is already good for two for appetizer. I love this! The tomato soup base was seasoned well, with the right balance of sweetness and tanginess of the tomatoes.Taco - my top favorite amongst the dishes we had. It was served uniquely in that you have to deconstruct everything and mix well. Aside from the concept, I love the overall taste of this dish. The greens were even cut evenly, which is quite amazing for me. The taco sauce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa, greens and ranch dressing perfectly blended well. Definitely must order! Chicken Diane - another top favorite of mine. This pasta dish looks so simple and plain and can easily be ignored but I warn you NOT. Almost everyone from the website group had this in their top three favorites, that's how good this dish was. The garlic pasta was flavorful on its on. Add to that was the Diane sauce which is a bit creamy but is very different from carbonara. The grilled chicken on the side was so flavorful and juicy. Definitely another must order in Burgoo!Supreme sampler - a combination of mozarella sticks, calamari, bacon cheese fried and buffalo wings. I love the mozzarella sticks in this dish.Seafood Jambalaya supreme - a combination of mussels, sausages, chicken, peas, shrimps, calamari on a bed of long grain rice with cajun flavor. Another crowd favorite. It's a all in one dish as there's rice and viands already in it. One can't help but munch and before you know it, it's all gone.Shrimps and ribs platter - a combination of cajun shrimps and barbecued ribs with corn and fries on the sides. For dessert, we were able to try three variety of cheesecakes. All with distinct taste. As I'm a dessert person, I easily loved these three varied cheesecakes. Raspberry cheesecake, oreo cheesecake and brownie fudge cheesecake.I'll definitely be back to have those new favorites of mine.

The place is spacious for us since we dined late in the evening. It's a good place to share delicious foods and good laughs too. Staffs are accomodating too.

5-stars for the chef. when we arrived at the resto around 11am, he was the only one around. Looks like the servers were late. He would then take the orders send out bills and cook all by himself. Would also even take phone calls for the resto. He too is still friendly or approachable given that scenario.

Although the servers are excellent, the food is not worth its price. Ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and Original Regular Jambalaya (both Php395). My burger was bloody in the middle (had to give it back) and the fries were borderline burnt. Even the ketchup was low quality. Jambalaya serving is too small. Wouldn’t go back for a long time probably.

The staff was really nice, the food was ok and really worth it for the buy 1 take 1 promo. This is really good if you’re with a +1. Not to mention that you draw stuff in their paper table mats haha

Too long waiting time! Food is not that spectacular. Must improve serving time as well as customer service. We waited for 30-35mins for our food.

Late post!!!Burgoo -- at first I thought it was some variation of the hamburger (as many may have assumed too). But I was instead welcomed to a new cuisine ("new" at least for me): Southern US cuisine, thanks to this weekend |ooloo rendezvoos.Got stuck in a horrible early afternoon traffic, considering it was a Saturday, and I didn't anticipate that. I thought I could not make it at all, but I was grateful that looloo and Burgoo (hey, that rhymes!) still welcomed me. While they were already eating, I managed to take some pictures of the food (before more dishes came in).Burgoo is an all-American restaurant whose name was based on the regional dish, the burgoo stew. This spicy and savory stew originated from Kentucky. Traditional burgoo consists of whatever protein and vegetables are on hand (that also include game birds and other wild animals). But of course, Burgoo's own stew is nothing offbeat (thankfully), and here are the details of this wonderful dish:🔸 Burgoo Stew (₱145) It consists of chicken, beef and pork, mixed with carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, and garnished with green beans, corn kernel and chopped parsley, and served with bread. I never thought that the combination of different meats in one dish would work well together, but they did in this lovely stew. I was immediately bowled over (sorry for the pun) by this unassuming-looking but delicious bowl of stew. If I were to have my way, I would have paired this with rice, but that would be a sacrilege to this celebrated Kentucky dish, won't it? I just loved this stew, and it seems it was also the favorite of the majority of looloo reviewers. My top favorite.Other items we tried from Burgoo's menu:🔸 Chicken Diane (Regular, ₱395 / Large, ₱495) My second favorite. The grilled chicken fillet was so tender and juicy. The "Diane" sauce consisted of chopped tomatoes and capers (among other things). Personally, I hate capers because I find them weird to my taste, but the other flavors seemed to mask these little green round things. In the end, I managed to eat capers. The garlic pasta was so good too.🔸 Seafood Jambalaya Supreme (Regular, ₱495 / Large, ₱695) My first time to try jambalaya -- everything in it except the shrimp. It was like a spicy paella. I liked it a lot in terms of taste, but the chicken was rather dry.🔸 Shrimps and Ribs Platter (Regular, ₱695 / Large, ₱995 / with more shrimps, ₱125) Craving for some surf n' turf? Here's the Shrimps and Ribs Platter consisting of barbecued baby back ribs and Cajun-spiced fried prawns. They are served with fries and corn on the cob. I didn't remember tasting this, but that was okay, as I am not a big fan of BBQ and I cannot eat shrimp.🔸 Supreme Sampler (Regular, ₱425 / Large, ₱595) Want to whet up your appetite in a big way? Or just want big, big snacks? Burgoo answers your cravings with the Supreme Sampler which really lives up to its name: a huge serving of "finger food" consisting of Buffalo wings, cheddar cheese fries, mozzarella sticks, fried calamari and celery sticks with a ranch dip. It had gone cold though, because of our prolonged picture-taking, but the mozzarella sticks were still fun to eat. I liked the fried calamari too.🔸 Taco Salad This dish was unique because the taco bowl resembled a big seashell, with all the toppings in it: lettuce, diced fresh tomatoes, ranch dressing, taco meat sauce, green onions, salsa and cheddar cheese. You'd have second thoughts about breaking the taco because it looked too darn pretty to eat. Hehehe. But taste-wise, it was good. I got a lot of lettuce and tomatoes -- I had my much-needed greens there!🔸 Blue Banana My own order. Banana smoothie topped with blueberry syrup. It kind of tasted "mapakla" -- it seemed the bananas used in the drink were not yet quite ripe. But otherwise, it was good.DESSERTS:🔸Fudge Brownie Cheesecake (₱245) 🔸Raspberry Cheesecake (₱225) 🔸Oreo Cheesecake (₱225)I am not a fan of cheesecakes, but if I were to pick one of them, it would be the Raspberry because of the sweet and tangy raspberry sauce that made it a standout among the three (and it is the most visually appealing, to boot).

The place looks sad and aircon is not cold enough, went there at 7pm. Food is still ok though the mashed potatoes does not use fresh potatoes anymore tastes like the dehydrated flakes. The cornnon the con is not the sweet corn variety anymore. Their lemon pepper chicken still tastes good

We first tried this place circa 2012 or 2013. The chef had a full-blown meltdown (screaming from the kitchen) because someone complained about the steak he cooked being well-done. Imagine six years later, we decided to go back here---and YIKES! The past and pizza sauce? Watery, the pizza crust felt like cardboard, and the cheese for both dish was like glue. This restaurant's pizza tasted like the microwavable frozen ones you buy in the grocery.

We ordered their (Robinson's Galleria Branch) Linguini with Clams, Baked Macaroni and Uncle Sam's Burger. Both pastas were served hot and very tasty. The Anggus burger patty was thick and not dry. Good service crew. Suggested to add a fan or cooler in this branch to make the place cooler for the guests.
