I have a love-hate relationship with Burgoo. Mainly because I don’t understand their food. Sometimes they serve a deliciously satisfying meals. Sometimes they don’t. Knowing their prices, it’s quite difficult to accept that the food isn’t great. So I invited my family to visit different branches.

I had dinner here with my Family and the place was a little bit crowded at that time but we were able to get a nice cozy seat right away. The server though looked tired was smiling already, probably because my 5 year old niece was there saying hi and hello to everyone. One thing I noticed is the paper placemat they had on the table along with the crayons they gave us upon seating so it kept my niece busy making doodles while we wait for the food. For starters, we ordered the Seafood Caesar Supreme Salad - it was rated as best seller so I chose this one. It had the traditional Caesar salad topped with fried calamari, grilled shrimps, crabmeat, parmesan cheese and croutons. The regular size cost for about 395Php and I'd rate this 4/5. I don't have seafood on salads often so this was something different and I like that is was appetizing.Something for my niece, I ordered Chicken Diane pasta that has tender and juicy grilled chicken fillet, served with garlic spaghetti on a pool of creamy Diane sauce and served with garlic breadsticks. The regular size cost for about 395Php. It looks like the pasta is drowning in the pool of sauce. It could be good if the sauce was not too heavy and salty so my niece only ate the chicken fillet. I'd rate this 3/5.Another one we had was the Country Style Fried Chicken - it is seasoned chicken, deep fried to golden that can be served with potato wedges or rice pilaf and a choice of corn salsa, coleslaw, mashed potato or corn on the cob. It cost about 395Php. I'd rate this 4/5 because the chicken is crispy and juicy that we all enjoyed along with the mashed potato and corn salsa as side dish. You must order rice to go with it though. A steamed rice is 45Php per cup.Lastly, we had also one of their best sellers, the Seafood Jambalaya Supreme - A combination of mussels, calamari and shrimps with ham, chorizo, green peas, green bell pepper, white onions, Cajun spices in long grain rice and topped with deep-fried chicken. The regular size cost for about 495Php. I really like that it was full of flavor, not too much spicy and just the right seasoning. The rice in itself is good but it's not enough so I had to order some more rice. I'd give this 4/5.Overall, it was a great dining experience. The American diner look is appealing however, when there is too much crowd, you can just feel the heat.

I had late lunch here around 4pm with family and luckily availed a 30% discount from Eatigo. Much better to arrived 15 minutes ahead of time. The staff were friendly and the place was just casual. The foods were good but not exceptional. A little expensive though if you are on a tight budget. We’ve tried their appetizer Supreme sampler and their Spinach grilled salmon ( which i find expensive for its size. It’s a little small for 695 php, approximately 5 inches long and 4 inches wide. It’s a little dry, not juicy and overcooked.) We also tried 2 different chicken menu ( chicken barbecue and chicken steak) and again the taste was just average for me. Overall, it was just an average experience for me. Approximate cost is 1,500 Php for 2.

Ate here just because i was taking advantage of eatigo app. 50% off besh, san ka pa? 😂 so we tried their different platters, which mostly had fries. Lol. Their food was rather bland, especially their pasta. Their baby back rib was good (peeling off the bones) but more sweet than usual. My favorite here was their Seafood jambalaya which we didnt order this time because my husband didnt like it.

I dont want to eat here talaga kasi its so expensive for me. Ilang beses ko na gusto kumain but i cant haha. Pero one time inaaya ako ng partner ko, natuwa ako kasi kahit medyo mahal siya worth it naman yung price. And akala ko need po ng kanin haha gusto ko yung ambiance feel ko nasa ibang bansa ako haha
