My first time to try this cafe but wow I was impressed with the friendly crew and the beautiful interior; of course their frappe tastes good.

I will give extra .5 for the rating since the staff were nice. I ordered the tamarind lemongrass chicken 280pesos together with ginger raspberry. To my surprise, the serving were too SMALL! And I was expecting tangy taste on my chicken since it says on the menu it is a tamarind lemongrass chicken. Instead, it taste like soy chicken. YES! just a chicken with soy sauce! VERY VERY disappointed and no wonder why there is not much people dining in here. Will I go back? Maybe if I need some workspace since they have WIFI. But will not eat here when I am hungry. BAD FOOD!

Ambiance - 4.0/5.0This branch is the biggest branch of Book and Borders. Also, it got lots of new books and more outlets. I also love how homey the vibe can be, as it actually complements the community where it belongs. Eastwood is a home and office -- a community within a big city, which is Quezon City.Service - 3.0/5.0The ones who serve aren't really attentive. First, I ordered Latte but they gave me Flat White. So I needed to wait again for my drink. Second, I asked them to put it on a take out cup as I will be leaving after 30 minutes. But they still served it on a dine in cup. (Goodbye Latte Art.) Good thing they are okay with replacing my drink after I realized it is not Flat White. However, I hope it will not happen again.Food - 3.5/5.0I felt like ordering two drinks. Anyway, I will judge the Latte first. The latte was done excellently but, I felt like they are using the wrong coffee beans. The milk doesn't compliment the coffee. (Forgive my taste buds. I am just really a coffee person. Second, the Flat White. The coffee is really strong which overpowered the milk. Again, I think it is the beans. Coffee making is a good industry to invest your money and time but you must learn a lot of things about Coffee. Will go back for the food. Let us see if I will be happy or not.

Drinks:Milkshake and smoothies are good. Haven't tried other drinks yetFood:Food is okay, the preparation took so long ☹️. Blueberry Cotton Cheesecake is good but would be better if it has more blueberry in it. All items are pricey. The staff are approachable. The place is good. It has wifi and outlets for customers with laptops.

With its spacious and bright interior together with a nice menu of drinks and meals, I could have easily given it a 5. Though they have the books I like on shelf, the Truffle Mushroom Pasta and Seafood Aligue Pasta were both unavailable when we visited. Even the choices for smoothies were limited then. But I'm still happy for what we had: Chicken Teriyaki with Kimchi rice, Tempura Rice Meal, Sausage Breakfast, Strawberry Smoothie and Raspberry Sparkling Tea. The bill was just 798 bucks because of the 50% Mothers' Day discount on one rice meal and my dad's senior discount which was calculated fairly (deducted from his sausage breakfast and smoothie). Otherwise, I think the meals are a bit pricey.

Food - 3.5/5The food is good. I was just surpirsed when the "Chicken Parmigiana" is green. Yun pala it's kinda pesto. The thing is, I dont eat/like pesto so mejo nalungkot ako and I had to switch my food. Mind you, it's not indicated in the menu that it's pesto-like and the picture is very different, so of course I wouldn't order that of I knew it's "green".Ambiance - 4.5/5Very spacious, very modern and cozy. I call this place "All in one". Because you can enjoy a cup of coffee here and just chill. You can eat, you can bring a buddy and drink.Service - 4.5/5What surprised me the most is they have a LOT of crew for a newly opened establishment. More crew more fun, becaise you are well attended and they are very quick with what you need.

Ordered a lemon and ginger tea at this cafe, thinking they would make their own in-house version, but paid 110 peso for a tea bag with hot water...

Food: 5/5We ordered their Iced Coffee Fudge and Hot Cappuccino. Coffee tastes great. Not so sweet and if you're a coffeeholic like me, you'll notice that their coffee came from brewed coffee beans unlike those other cafes serving instant and too sweet coffees. We also ordered their Truffle Carbonara. It was so creamy and it has a lot of mushrooms, cheese, and bacon bits (hooray for those bacon lovers! 🙌).Ambience: 4/5The cafe is great for those who like to read books and to study. It is spacious and it has many sockets for those who are using their laptops and chargers for their phones. They also have wifi here. The only thing that disappointed me here is when we went here, the staff was catching a fly with this electric tennis racket. Not so good for a cafe, right? And, the restroom also can improve more.Service: 5/5The staff were friendly and approachable. Food quality was also great so kudos to the baristas and chefs/cooks. 🙌Will definitely go back here or try their other branches to see if they are consistent or if the other branches are much better. 😊

I was pissed because of a certain salesperson trying to take advantage by not fully informing their costumers and taking them to the basement to do some funny business. Please be careful when you're at the A Shop in Eastwood City. Books and Borders Cafe offered refuge with the welcoming staff at the entrance. I wanted to complain to Apple headquarters so the first thing I asked was if they had wifi. They did and it was fast the jolly staff answered, we laughed as I entered and found a table. He even offered one with an outlet nearby. Of course, saksakan is important with all the gadgets losing power in just 10 minutes of use. I ordered the Cafe Mocha and it was goooood. They sprinkled dark chocolate over dollops of whipped cream. I think. It was dark chocolatey good and that's all I need. 5 of 5 stars for that. After a few hours, yes, hours of mooching off their wifi. I ordered the Truffle Mushroom Pasta. I must mention again that the staff are all friendly, top of the list for a good restaurant, mmmkay?Back to the pasta, hiyang-hiya yung truffle dahil ang lalakas ng boses nung lalake at babae sa katabi kong table. They were agents. He was tired, he spends most of his time in the gym and meeting his people in this cafe. He has a seat reserved for him. Everyone here at the cafe knows him. Or so he says. Girl flips her hair constantly. I fear for my pasta. If they called this carbonara then 5 out of 5 stars! The texture was good, sauce is enough, temperature is perfect.

A somehow quiet place to stay in the midst of the party strip of Tomas Morato. However, during our stay, there is a group of Japanese old men who really talk loud and it’s annoying.
