This is definitely dessert place haven! The drinks which is topped with awesome vanilla ice cream. The churros that is so tasty its good even without a dip. Anyway, the a lá mode is great too.I might try the sundae next. But I swear I havent tried any that disappoint yet.

Black Sugar is an isolated dessert parlor inside StrEat. Hahaha Tried their Oreo Churro A La Mode and it was so so. Good because I love sweets but nothing really special. I had a hard time finishing my order as the churros is so heavy.

Their sundaes are perfect for the hot weather! Mom got the La Roca while I opted for Pop Tarts. The caramel syrup was unavailable that time so I had the chocolate syrup instead. I think they mixed up the almonds because mine ended up with some when it was supposed to be candy sprinkles. Too bad cause I like sprinkles on my ice cream! :( But it was still good and complemented the pop tarts on my sundae. Mom particularly liked the toffee chips on her sundae. Next time I'll try their funnel cakes and cream soda.

I was searching for dessert places in Maginhawa that we can go to and I was really enticed by the pictures from this particular cafe. So we found the place in one of the STREAT food stalls, the place looked really nice especially the interiors. When it comes to food, I was honestly a bit disappointed. It looks really great in the picture but the taste was plain and normal. There was no "wow" factor that I was looking for.

Cute interiors and brand! All their offerings looked very appealing. I tried the s'mores sundae and although nothing incredibly special for me, it was good; a nice way to end a food trip in Maginhawa. I am however returning to try their sodas and their funnel cake!

Since The Lost Bread was closed when we came to strEAT and were craving for ice cream, we decided to try Black Sugar. I ordered the Smores sundae while my girlfriend ordered there the one with the cherry and popcorn (I forgot the name). I like the chocopie like mallows on my sundae, but the ice cream itself was not creamy and more on the sweet side. My gf on the otherhand, she didn't like hers at all. Experience was okay, could be better.

Located at the back part of StrEAT food park, this place serves a variety of desserts which includes funnel cakes (which is pretty much fried waffles accdg to the girl at the counter). Unfortunately, we didn’t order their funnel cakes since we were looking for ice cream. We ordered their sundaes instead. Tried the S’mores and the Strawberry flavored ones (forgot their names), toppings were bland, as well as the whipped cream, but the soft serve itself was something else. Very sweet and creamy, just how I like it. Service-wise, it’s 👎🏼 for me. They served our sundaes with a fork! When we asked for spoons, they told us they didn’t have any because of a mistake in the delivery of supplies. Who eats ice cream with a fork? They didn’t even find a way for us to get spoons!

For a light and nostalgic dessert to finish off your StEAT food dive, get funnel cake dessert at Black Sugar. The funnel cake is chewy and just the perfect ratio of caramel glaze and ice cream! Definitely not for sharing! They're kinda slow but it's worth the wait.

Been there once. And definitely will go back soon! 😊 I love there strawberry something tea (i forgot the name and not included on my photos, sorry). Can someone tell me the name? Please. It’s like a milk tea but 100x more addictive! You must try that! ❤️

We ordered the sundae and the toffee nut waffle thing. It was okay but I don’t think I will return. A little bit overpriced for me. I was kinda regretting after.
