So its a food crawl sponsored by website , The yard and Andy Cola.PigOutSundays tasted Black Plate's Wagyu bowl. It was goooood! Tender and juicy and reasonably priced! For P150 you get a bowl of rice with your stick of wagyu cubes. Like it sans rice? Just pay P100 per stick of wagyu. Yum!

The place was quite full and it remained full every time a table was vacated, someone else would occupy it. The kitchen and the staff were doing there best to accommodate all the guests. I ordered the Gyudon it was flavorful and delicious. We absolutely loved it! I wish we ordered more, but I didn't want to overeat so I plan to come back soon to sample their other dishes. :-) :-) :-)

Japanese Food! Ramen is good. Perfect for the weather. We also ordered, something like sushi with spam. Good try also.Beef Gyudon is the best. Tasty and tender beef with rice. Awesome taste. This Gyudon nailed it!Service is nice and they are accommodating. Price is just right. Cause the food can be shared by two, big serving really.Kudos Black plate team! Will go back for the Beef Gyudon! Whoohoo! :)

A MUST TRY FOOD KIOSK AT THE YARD. They really did an awesome work in upgrading a simple cali maki into a burrito style greatness. Easy to eat, very tasty at a reasonable price. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I went up to their stall with the intention to order the Ocean Avenue, from what I heard was their version of a giant california maki. When I got there however, I changed my order to the Weho's Finest. It wasn't bad overall but it wasnt worth raving about. I think it's because of the rice, perhaps they could have used a different mix to better complement the contents of the burrisushi. I would like to come back to try the Ocean Avenue.Update:I returned to try the Ocean avenue, which I was told was their bestseller. I was unfortunately disappointed with the burrisushi as it seemed to lack both in content and in flavor. I wish the rice and the shrimp had more flavor as it felt nearly bland.

Black Plate: Japanese Cuisine If you wanted to discover new dining places to hang-out with your friends, what’s booming now is what they called “Food Parks” around Quezon City area. If I were to describe Food Park, it’s like having a concept of a food court where in different stall is scattered around inside a certain place. Not like ordinary stall, it has cubicle-stall type restos/bars.., and some of it has floor levels..Last August 10, I got a chance to dine in with my workmates at “The Yard” located at 83 Xavierville, Loyola Heights, and Quezon City. This place caters Japanese and Asian Cuisines, and opens from 4:00 PM to 12:00 PM. I got overwhelmed with the size of people dining in and out the place, where in we have to wait for the seat. This kind of place makes the people curious because of the crowd and what they have inside. At last after a long wait, we have the “Black Plate” which serves mainly Japanese dishes. Of course, like any other we take photos of the food we ordered. We have ordered Ocean Avenue BurriSushi, Bacon Burri bowls, Sausage Burribowls, Mini Spam Musubi and the Ramen. Ocean Avenue BurriSushi .Burrito Sushi. They have big servings of BurriSushis. I like the seafood fillings because I love SEA foods esp. shrimp. :) Ocean deep. A must try. We also have tried two other BurriSushis but this one has marked on me.Bacon Burri bowls. I like the way the rice was cook and the presentation of the plate that keeps it more appetizing. Sausage Burri bowls. I like the sausage and all the things they have on the bowl.Mini Spam Musubi. It consists of spam on top and rice wrapped with nori. Like it! We also ordered Ramen. The noodles is good having the sliced boiled eggs, meat and the hotness of the broth on a rainy weather when we came at the area.I’ll definitely come back. Or should I say, WE’LL definitely come back.. 

Another favorite stall in The Yard. Very sulit!FOOD: I ordered a bacon burribowl and boyfriend got the burrisushi. We both enjoyed our dinner! My burribowl tastes good and the sauce and vegetables mixed into it is remarkable. Serving is big and presented really good. Boyfriend enjoyed the burrisushi too. It is actually the same thing but his is wrapped burrito style. They offer a lot of combinations that we can't decide what to get.PLACE: It is located inside the food park The Yard so expect people everywhere. Good luck on finding seats.SERVICE: They're really fast and friendly. We asked a lot of questions and they answered them all.We will definitely combing back for the other burrisushi and burribowl.

I don't know what is the name of the food we ordered but the soup of the ramen is really salty and it lacks flavor or some kicks in it. But the presentation is really nice! 😊

Black Plate at The Yard.  Me and my friends ordered Bacon Burribowls, Sausage Burribowls and Gyudon. Were actually surprised that their servings were big. It's a  rice bowl with bacon/sausage, corn and vegetable on top. My personal favorite is the Gyudon. The meat was so tender and the sauce was perfect. I would love to go back and have their Gyudon again!

BLACK PLATE couldn't have come up with a better fusion of two of my favourite dishes with their burrisushis! It's Mexican and Japanese rolled into one (pun intended!). Tried the We Ho's Finest, Japanese fried rice packed with pan seared salmon, house guacamole, pickled cucumber, lettuce, miso sauce, BP's special secret sauce, and wrapped in nori. Delicious!!! Service? Friendly, fast and efficient!
