I pass by this shop every single day and all these years it had made me curious of what their offerings were. Luckily website gave me a sneak peak, and it got me even more curious because of the high rating. The location is very near P. Tuazon Blvd, but the shop doesn't face the main road. You have to enter 17th avenue, but you can't miss it. It's just 2 houses away from the corner.I came in on a weekday evening, a little before 7pm. There was a woman at the counter who immediately attended to me. Well, the fact was, I was the only guest at that time, so she should. I asked if there's a meal for 1 person, she suggested the solo plate which costs a reasonable 190 pesos.I wasn't in a hurry, so I patiently waited. I actually saw the meat cooked at the grill outside. I didn't really time it but I got my solo plate, maybe 15 minutes after. The meat was very tender. It had a nice texture and it was easy to chew. I'm used to sweet ribs, but the profile was more on the smokey side, and it wasn't bad. This was accompanied with herbed rice and baby potatoes. They also had gravy that complimented well, the downside was, they served it cold.Only one staff attended to me, but she was on her toes the whole time. She was friendly too. I asked her what was the guest trend like, and she informed me that they're really strong during lunch time and weekends. There was a male staff who grilled the meat, and he patiently cooked the ribs to perfection. The place is a bit dim, and the tables and chairs were not too fancy and quite uncomfortable. Seating capacity is pretty much around 20pax. Airconditioning of the area is pretty good though.I'd say I had a really good experience. I'd visit again but I need to cut down on the pork. Maybe I'll try their Chicken wings next time.

Read a lot of great things about this place so couldn't wait to try it.Went in on a Saturday night and place was quiet, just one other table. Menu has changed slightly from what's on website which was a bit disappointing. No more brisket, and no more group meals. They now only do ribs, pork belly (on the menu but wasn't available), chicken wings and pasta.Ordered the full rack of ribs, plus chicken wings, rice and potatoes.Ribs were full of meat and you could taste the smokey flavour. Could of done with a bit more sauce on them but were tasty and did fall of the bone easily!Wings were great too! Rice and potato portions were a bit small, but saying that I could eat another grain of rice after finishing the ribs!Wasn't much of an atmosphere in the place and the sever wasn't very engaging. This place is all about the ribs. And the ribs didn't disappoint!

Well I came here for the ribs, and it did not disappoint. It's very tender and tasty. I also ordered buffalo wings which taste good as well. The place was a bit small, while the Staffs are efficient.

Price on menu needs a lil bit updating.. Waiting time is at least 20mins for the ribs..id suggest to add up an appetizer on the menu to alleviate the waiting time. Ribs was okay..A little burnt though.. And kinda did not live up to expectations.. But, Buffalo wings was a winner!!

The Real Smoke. Yes! They nailed it. They hooked one of the best smoked barbeque stand alone stop shops in the metro. They offer their best hickory slabs rich in flavors, herbs and natural juices.Big Daddy Jay's half slab fits for two. (P450) You can feel the sumptuous tenderness of the meat perfected to match (P45) herbed marbled baby potatoes (adding salt and pepper makes the taste better)Their classic buffalo wings (P180) is also a winner. I wish they can have bigger servings. The barbeque sauce is just fine, maybe because the slab can just justify itself for the taste. The servers were very nice and attentive. The place is very accessible as its just around the corner. They only got a very few parking spaces though. The restaurant's ambiance is clean, and yeah, just fine. Their food better fits a brick type of wall with rustic ornamentation. The experience is worth recommending!
