Considering the more than 20 dishes   from 6 restaurants, we need to take photos of and taste  last Wednesday at a cross order website meet up, it was pretty easy to be overshadowed by other stronger menus.Somehow Bento & Co managed to hold its own with its classic Japanese offerings....

Bento & Co is a fabulous website find! Located in a strip of restos at No 2 Scout Lazcano, it offers a variety of yummy Japanese food at reasonable prices. We heard that it is managed by Sushi-ya so quality is quite good. Plus, you can cross order your desserts at some of the neighboring restos along the strip.I love the mix of flavors of the tempura and the Japanese fried rice. I even sampled some of the Kani Salad which really refreshes the palate.

We specially dine here for their Bento boxes! The way it works -- you create your own meal with a chosen set which has rice, salad and appetizer. We usually go for their Beef Teppan or Tuna Teppan for the main course in our Bento Box. Kids love the chicken teriyaki for the main course. When we are not as hungry as a horse, we opt for their Katsudon or Torikatsudon. These are really oishi. On some days, we crave for their torikatsu curry! Also leave some space for the salmon sashimi. 😋

Affordable Japanese food that taste good.  They offer bento boxes wherein you can choose within their best sellers like chicken teriyaki and beef teppanyaki. They have generous serving of their sashimi's specially the salmon sashimi. Definitely worth coming back for.

There's a new Japanese restaurant in Quezon City and it offers bento boxes and other favorites at pocket friendly prices. Bento & Co is one of the handful restaurants in the food complex along Lazcano and Mother Ignacia and it was one of my stops during a food crawl with some of my favorite foodies.

After finishing an entire bottle of wine at the Little Winehaus, we were informed that we can cross order from other establishments within the compound. Bento & Co is a casual dining japanese restaurant with a wide selection of japanese favourites. We tried the katsudon, perfect for after drinks meal. The pieces of pork cutlets were crispy and perfect with the egg and katsudon sauce. You can get a bowl of katsudon for a reasonable price of 180 PhP. Will be back to try their other offerings.

As I mentioned in my previous about about Two Lazcano Place, the QC Food hub houses several restaurants, and I had the pleasure of sampling a few during my visit. Much like the popular "Ketchup Food Community" in Baguio, the Two Lazcano complex allows cross ordering from all the restaurants, giving you a diverse selection to choose from, ranging from Japanese Food, American Food, Mouth-watering Pastries and of course, home grown Filipino food.

The first restaurant in the 2 Lazcano Building that opened in March 2016. They thought of a wonderful idea of creating your own bento that depends on your budget, hunger level and your mood. They serve dishes like Beef Teppanyaki, Chicken Teriyaki, Tempura, Gomoku Ramen, Katsudon, Salmon Sashimi, Philadelphia Roll and California Maki, etc.

Don't expect any fancy-schmancy Japanese dishes here. However, I'm giving Bento & Co. a high rating because it hits all the basics. If you're looking for a quick and affordable Japanese fix, this small neighborhood joint will definitely hit the spot. They have a selection of familiar sushi and sashimi dishes. Their donburi selection also includes all your usual fare including my favorite Katsudon. The teriyaki salmon belly here is also one of the must-tries. The tender fish is seared and glazed with a rich, sweet and savory teriyaki sauce that really hits the spot. Other famous Japanese staples like karaage and tempura can also be found here. If you want a bento meal, you can build your own and customize according to your preferences. Rice and salads come with free refills as well. Overall, this is a great place if you are looking for a bigger bang for your buck.

It seems a requirement to have Japanese cuisine in a cluster of restaurants nowadays. Their simple flavors and variety is always a very good addition to food choices. Say hello to Bento & Co. here in 2 Lazcano. Yes, they have the cute lunch sets in create your own bento but they also offer your go-to Donburi (rice bowls), Sashimi, Maki, and Tempura. Our team had their tasty Salmon Surprise Maki and Aiko Bento which had well-marinated chicken teriyaki, maki salmon, fruit jellies and heart-shaped Japanese fried rice.
