Beiruti Bite is a small, Lebanese restaurant that specializes in their local cuisine, from kebabs, shawarmas, to grilled pies.It is located along Panay Ave., in the same building as the BPI at the corner of Timog, but the sign isn't visible from the outside. Some of the people in our group missed it the first time they pass the street. As a 'big' family, we ordered tons of stuffs from the menu just to try each one.Sambusek (cheese). It was a Lebanese spring rolls folded into a small, triangle envelope. It was similar to the Greek spanakopita, but was filled with just cheese, their local cheese. The cheese wasn't that salty and cheezy, like what we grew up with. It was nice and crunchy. It was served with a spicy, yogurt dip that complimented and gave the cheese life.Beef Shawarma Plate was really good. The beef was spiced and flavorful. It was cooked just right. And the pickles on the side was really sour! I was surprised, expecting to be the same as the German pickles, salty, sour, and crisp. But was good.Shish Taouk was large chunks of chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, skewered with onions and bell peppers, similar to the Kebab Skewers we know. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I didn't expect it to be like this, it was really good.Lahme B Aajine was a minced meat pie. Similar to a quesadilla, but made with a freshly made pita bread. The only problem I had was the ground meat was old. It didn't tasted fresh and there's a smell that signals this meat is going to be spoiled sooner than later. It is similar to the ground meats that is sold in grocery stores that has a slightly foul odor due to meat handling. The food was great, but the service was bad! Our orders got confused and we were the first customer to arrive in our batch and was last to be served. There was only one chef (Lebanese) in the kitchen, which is the owner, with 2 assistants inside. I pity the server, because she was in the middle of the situation and was teary eyed. We just kept on following up our orders. Some orders took more than an hour to arrive. I'm hoping on my next visit, it wouldn't be this bad. The food was really good and authentic. Something I would go back there for. P.S. I rarely rate service as part of my rate, but this time, it was abit worse.#TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints #TheLostDiego

Great food and ambiance. Great selection of starters. Mindblowing presentation of the food. I order the shish tauk and hummus all the time. Never disappoints. High-end food and tastefully decorated. I have been here more number of times than I can count. Recently one particular chef really developed the place and made the food amazing. He looked new since we had not seen him before. He came personally and asked how the food was. He was nice and mentioned that he had worked with 5-star restaurants which explained the Michelin star quality food in such a small place, according to my opinion.

If you love kebabs and shisha, this is definitely worth the try. Its a bit pricey for a kebab place but the grilled meat platter really delivers. The chicken was tender but not dry. The beef kebab had strong flavors but was complemented by the garlic yogurt sauce. My favorite was the beef because it was cooked just right and very tender. We tried their double apple shisha and strawberry and double apple is definitely better. We also had their falafel which had strong pea and garlicky flavor which we really didn't like but the cheese quesadilla was good but had lack of cheese in it.
