I love the food! I know they are known for their burgers + awesome sauce, but I really fell in love with their rice options. Beef X Longganisa patty over a big block of heart shaped rice and egg, swimming in gravy... the life.Tipid TIP: They have this new PGCOMBO99, its burger, fries and iced tea for PHP99, i suggest getting two of those (PHP198) in one order, sobrang sulit. ;)

Burgers are big yes for me! With Beef X, I expected the best, since I already ate here a few times already. However, my expectations fell a bit flat. Beef X was formerly known as BIG B burgers. This joint has been around for quite a while. However, they recently opened their UP Town Center branch. We had their Pink Potion with feelings. This was a juice drink with food coloring that was mixed as it was served to us. The waiter even performed a litany in front of us as we described our feelings to him.We got to try out 3 of their burgers, namely the Pizza Burger, the standard Beef Bacon Burger, and the Waffle Bun Burger. The Pizza Burger, being their newest creation is a unique twist on the burger. The top bun is shaped like pizza, with mozzarella cheese toppings and baked pepperoni. The burger patty itself is a chunky beef amalgamation with their special Beef X white sauce. There is a generous helping of cheese and lettuce inside. The patty itself had bacon bits which was filled when it was grilled in the kitchen.The second was the Beef Bacon patty. This is the standard burger. It had the same specs with the pizza burger except that the patty was smaller; and the buns were plain. One had to pay extra to make the patties thicker. We had their Waffle Burger. It was the best dish in their menu so far. The Waffle patties were filled with syrup; and these blended well with the patty. It reminded of the Sausage mcmuffin of a famous brand; except that this one was served all day round. I liked the interplay of sweet flavors and the beefy patties. The problem with the patties, though, was that it was dry and tad too thin. It didn't look that good on pictures, and the texture wasn't that remarkable. While it did bind well and wasn't soggy; the patties were not that top notch compared to what we expected from an established burger joint. The quality deteriorated a bit. However, I believe that this restaurant can improve their burgers in the future. Here's to hoping that they will do.

Generally, the burgers were good but it didn't impress me that much. The most interesting item on the menu was the breakfast burger, there was a battle of sweet and salty which really made it delicious! In addition, they have this cool idea when purchasing drinks, I won't spoil it so you have to try it for yourselves! PS. Much better if you go in groups *wink*

The way they served the drinks, blue potion and mango gayuma was unique and entertaining. The bubblegum milkshake was too sweet though.Burgers were ok but would be better if patty can be a li'l thicker. Poutine ng ina fries was great!

The experience is so nice... What I am looking for in every establishments that I will visit is not only the food will taste great but the customer service as well... the crew is very accomodating and very nice... when he he made me laugh by asking something when he served the pink potion... human connection it is... food is good but what made this visit a great one is because of the crew knew how to give a great customer sevice... kudos...

After the long wait! I finally tried Big-B's!I always wanted to eat here since they have this unique 50-50 rule. What I ordered was their 50-50, which is 50% bacon and 50% beef with an extra cheese omelette. The food turned out to be good as expected, the crispiness of the patty got me, one may not taste the bacon as I am but it was a nice experience. I also enjoyed their gun like secret sauce. The ambiance of the place was awesome since there were hugot lines posted. This is a self service resto bar so I understood that service was somewhat lacking. All in all, it was a fair experience for me.

What's in a name? A burger by any other would, apparently, be just as delicious.I've been in love with Big B burgers since I first sank my teeth into one of their quarter pounders at a pop-up booth in the UP College of Law parking lot. Thick, delicious beef x your choice of bacon, sausage, longganisa, spam or sisig patties at bang-for-your-buck prices. While not as much of a go-to delivery option when we need a quick bite to eat as most fast food places (because most days, it's a competition between our wallets and our souls as to which is more of a black, empty void), it's still one of our staples. Apparently, they've been having some legal issues with their brand name and had to undergo a major change--and they decided to kick it off last Friday with a 50% off promo on all their patties.The only appropriate response, of course was... IT'S TIME FOR THE FOOD SQUAD TO DESCEND LIKE LOCUSTS UPON *EGYPT* aka THE RESTAURANT FORMERLY KNOWN AS BIG B.

Looks good right? Don't be deceived by its looks. The waffles were very oily and the burger patty was dry...they only got the cheese omelette right I think. Overall, I was disappointed with my first try of this so raved-about burger joint.

For burger lovers, BeefX Burgers (formerly known as Big B) at the 2nd Floor of UP Town Center would surely be a big hit. We sampled one of its popular options, the Bongga Burger (50% Beef, 50% Longganisa Patty). We'd say its one of the tastiest and most succulent burgers we've ever had. The favorite, Big B Burger (50% Beef, 50% Bacon patty) would have been better to try but imagining its high-fat content was quite intimidating. We would probably give in when we come back next time. The burgers were priced reasonably well. The service staff were attentive, prompt and courteous. The place looked simple and clean. The witty and funny writings framed on the walls and printed on some condiment bottles were truly hilarious and entertaining. Overall impact: Smashing!
