Nice place for afternoon coffee. Their bread selection is inspired by traditional breads of different countries. Their coffee was also very delicious.

This is a new place in SM North EDSA that has a concept like Bread Talk wherein you will choose from a variety of breads. They also serve coffee, some flavors are common, some are not. However, their breads aren't that consistent. I was actually disappointed with one of their breads, the Caramel Pecan Braid. It lacked the Caramel taste and the Pecan flavor is too strong. I was also disappointed with their Latte. No espresso kick at all. I hope they can improve on that. However, I love to commend the prices for the coffee.  For me it is fair BUT still with excellency. While the breads, I hope they can work on the freshness and of course the tender texture of the bread.

Happy to come across this new bakery. They have wide selection of breads. Surprised to find a tomato herb ciabatta. Different variants of croissants. To top it all, they have 50% discount by mall closing time. Will definitely come back to buy more next time.

Stumbled upon this bakery as I entered SM North today... An import from Sydney, this place serves authentic French baked goods, to paraphrase their tagline.... Made a mental note of it then went about checking off things on my to-do-list....As I was about to leave, I passed by to "look" at their breads... What caught my eye was their cookies... Their red velvet and their pecan cookies to be exact... They looked so good, so I told myself to choose just one... Red velvet it is! To rationalize my dessert binge, I bought focaccia and ciabatta bread to bring home... Yes, carbs... At the counter, I also saw that they serve sandwiches and coffee... They do have several tables in the store for people dining in. But, I already had a quick lunch, so no to the sandwiches... It was more difficult to say no to the Iced Toffee Apple, which piqued my curiosity... I waited for them to warm my cookie and to make my drink... The cookie was delicious! Gooey and soft, but a little too sweet for me. Could not finish it... The Iced Toffee Apple was very sweet and strangely enough, I couldn't taste the apple flavor. I was expecting a candy apple taste I guess... But it wasn't bad as soon as the ice melted. The bread they are selling looks great. I haven't tried what I bought just yet though... Think another BreadTalk in terms of variety... But French Baker in terms of kinds of breads sold... Similar price point as well... Worth a visit, if you want a change from the Fire & Cheese Floss(es)... Coffee is cheaper than Starbucks... No nonfat or soy options though... One size only for their drinks too...

Curiosity made me try this new place that specializes in breads all around the world...so they say. We ordered 2 kinds of buns, the Beef Stroganoff and the Chicken Pomodoro. The first bun doesn't taste anything like beef stroganoff. It was just like an ordinary pork bun. The second one tasted like Pomodoro but I didn't taste the chicken. Both buns have very little filling and were ordinary. The last one I tried was the Italian Pesto Bread. It has a nice presentation but the description didn't justify the taste. I hardly tasted any basil. And the filling was soooo small I almost missed it when I took a bite off the bread. It was so disappointing... Thank goodness the ambiance was nice and their coffee was acceptable. I will try the sweet buns, croissants and artisan breads next time. But, they have more choices compared to Bread Talk and French Baker.

Had to kill time for a movie so I decided to try out their breads as I've been dead curious for a while now. I ordered their Ham and Cheese Bread and Coffee and Cheese. Also had their cafe latte. The Ham and Cheese was good but I was hoping for more filling in it. The Coffee and Cheese was a different story as i recalled that I had a similar bread from Bread Talk. But this one has more balance with it and not too overpowering taste. When I ordered the bread and coffee, they have preheated the bread before serving it. It was a big plus for me since most bread is best for consumption when heated so good job for this crew. I had to try their other breads as well next time

SM North has always been our go to mall and when I saw a sign before that Bakers Maison is opening there, first thing I thought was it's another one of those high end bakeries. True enough their breads can be considered pricey but it seems not as pricey as those in other bakeries at their level. Given that they're owned by Gardenia I'm guessing they source most of their ingredients locally that's why they get to sell their breads cheaper. For coffee and cheese lovers like me, I highly recommend their coffee cream cheese bun. It's a coffee bun with cream cheese filling inside. It's not too sweet and the two flavors blend perfectly in every bite. Another highly recommended ones are their Italian pesto bread and triple cheese florentine.

Their store is very eye-catchy. It’s a powdery blue which is very nice to look at. We decided to eat here while waiting for our movie schedule. I forgot the name of the bread we ordered but it’s the one which is half chocolate, half cream cheese filling with a mini chocolate croissant 🥐. The staff is very accommodating. He let us know which is the best seller - the one we ordered. It’s a great experience here than the other bake/pastry shops we commonly go to. Thumbs up! 👍

If you’ve been following us for a while, you must have noticed that we love bakeries. We’ve tried Bakers Maison in Trinoma and we were surprised to see them as well in SM North. We like their breads and they’re fresh. What’s more interesting is the line of people in front of the bakery near closing time. Are we right in thinking that they are giving discounts before the store closes for the day? Absolutely. It’s basically Buy 1 Take 1 on the last hour for the bread.
