You can park at the basement and it's free. Yey...😅 but it's all stairs if you want to get back up, so it would be wise to drop off your senior citizens before parking. There are several stores you can go to but our target today is breakfast. Note that Rustan's Marketplace here is already open at 7:30am.The place is clean and everything is properly arranged, from tables and chairs and table top utensils. The wait staff are friendly, accommodating and attentive. The kitchen tries it's best to get the orders out for each table, but there is a slow down as more patrons come in. Before we knew it all the tables were already occupied by 9am. They do have outside seating but the heat from summer makes everyone want to dine in the air conditioned cafe, save for the 2 foreigners who opted to enjoy their coffee al fresco. They have freshly baked bread as early as 3am. I think I saw Sourdough, English Muffins, Croissants, and the Pan de Sal. I was surprised when I picked up a Pan de Sal to try it. It has some weight to it at a regular sized Pan de Sal. The crust was not hard and the bread was soft and moist. It was a literal "love at first bite" 😍 in fact, I had two more after my first inspite of having eaten half a muffin. 😅 I love good bread 😉We shared the steak which was comparable to Mamou's and Wolfgang's at half the price. 👍👍 The hot chocolate is a little bitter but goes perfectly with their bread. I also loved their Duck Confit Arroz Caldo, their version of Chicken Arroz Caldo. The dish was perfectly balanced. Not too salty and you can taste every ingredient contributing to the symphony of flavors (whoa that was way too deep especially for me 🤣)Overall, everything was good, from the service to the food so I'm not surprised why its regularly packed at most times of the day. I would definitely come back to try more of their dishes or to just chill. From the ease of parking (and it's free yey 🤣) and the different retail stores. It's already like a mini mall with free parking (yey 😅)

The pasta is great (Spinach Cavatelli!) and I liked their drinks (Green Tea Citrus Cooler!), and the Potato Leek Soup was also good. But overall the restaurant needs some work: (1) Their menus are not all updated and can be a little confusing. The paper is also beginning to crumble, so I hope they consider revising and reprinting onto more durable mediums. (2) Servers were pleasant but timing is important--I was served my soup at the END of my meal. It took so long that I didn't even remember I had soup. (3) Please make sure that your recommended items are always available. It's always frustrating to want to try something recommended then find out that it's not available. (4) The soufflé pancakes were a disappointment. Please improve on dessert offerings!

My mom and I love having breakfast together and exploring new resto where we could hang out.Apero has been on our list for the longest time but sonce the food choices are not that wide, we've been pushing oir visit back several times. One morning we tried visiting the place to tick it out of our bucketlist. The place is small but has a warm vibe. Good for family breakfast or meetings. We had a hard time choosing our orders but ended up with Bacon Shrimp Lyonnaise Salad, Apero Breakfast and Egg in the Hole with Bacon. We pretty much enjoyed our orders, the salad was something new, love the crispy bacon wrapping the shrimp and even the dressing tasted good. Apero breakfastcwas really generous in serving. Love hoe they followed my request to toast the bacon. My mom loved hers, it was something new for her since she's a rice person in the morning. We enjoyed our experience with Apero thou it was a bit pricey.

Great service and great food! I recommend getting a side of their mashed potatoes with [anything really]. The ambience is cozy and chic at the same time. Would definitely come back again!

I love neighborhood cafes/bistros. They are few and far between in a city filled with too many franchises. So when I finally had the chance to try Apero located in Corinthian Gardens I was looking forward to the chance for a nice dinner. I ordered the “Slow Roasted Lamb Neck with wild mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes”. The meat from the lamb fell off of the bone so you know that they took their time in preparing it. However, the bottom of the lamb was a bit dry and hard like it had been sitting at the bottom of a roasting pan for a while. The mashed potatoes were a bit over-whipped but I’ve rarely had good mashed potatoes in Manila for some odd reason. I suppose it’s just difficult for them to make correctly. The mushroom sauce that topped the lamb was very good and perfectly complimented the lamb.I really enjoyed my meal, though it would have been nice to add some color to the dish by using carrots and peas.Interior design: needs an upgrade. The vinyl seat cushions are cracking. Also the menus need to be printed on new paper. There were some grease stains found on my menu. It’s really the little things.Ambiance: okService: ok but no follow up. Just a few workers standing and chatting. They didn’t seem focused on work or the customers which was sad.
