The Food is so good specially their Beef Kebab. Two thumbs up! Delicious and so pocket friendly. Its my first time to eat there last night with my friends! :)

We had shawarma and keema when we ate at Al Farsi. Their meat was bland and not well-spiced. It was somewhere between Kebabers and Mister Kebab, which are also lightweights in the spice department. I guess they are holding out on the cumin for the general public, but it lessens the authenticity of the taste. A lot of the items weren't available at the time we were there. They didn't have falafel, hummus, and the yogurt shake. The price is good for people on a budget, around the same as Kebabers. Al Farsi marginally tastes better, though.

First time I ate at Al Farsi was with my orgmates, after a long day of school and orgwork. It was on their main branchin Maginhawa (near Savemore). I don't know if I was just hungrier that time, or if their quality there is better compared to this branch. Ordered the chicken and beef kebabs with rice. Pretty generous amount. Almost had to order another cup of rice. Meat was tender and marinated (?) nicely. Accompanied with their sauces, perfect! Hummus with pita bread was okay as well.We just had an issue how hot and humid this branch was. Also, how open it was to smoke from the streets, not to mention the odors of the sewers. We also had a difficult time hearing each other, because there was an event at the barangay station. They were playing loud music, that it made it hard for us to enjoy our meal.

I always order the Beef Shawarma rice with extra sticks of Chicken shawarma.  I find the serving size to be very good for the price. The meat is juicy and tender and freshly cooked. I also love the choices of sauce (they have Cheese, Regular, Spicy, Garlic, etc), so I mix and match these on the Beef/Chicken. They don't use salsa, but a slice of a gently grilled tomato, which is fine. You know the tomato is fresh.Service is very fast and when I'm in a good mood I sometimes order the fruitshake (which is also good), and I tip. *PS this was for the V Luna branch (which closed to give way to Josiah's catering). But I think the Maginhawa branch is still open. I wish they would put aircon for that branch as well.
