Food is great but a little bit pricey for me since i could find a japanese restaurant which serves good food but with a lower price. We’ve ordered the salmon sashimi and it makes my sister, who hates eating raw food, loves sashimi.Their ramen also has a good flavor

Orderd grilled salmon and salmon tepanyaki bento set and salmon sashimi. Sashimi was not fresh, wasabi was like green flour paste with no "kick".Poor service, apathetic staff. Warm temp inside resto.

We were excited to try this place since their specialty was tepanyaki and we really wanted a tepan table and we were willing to wait. They agreed that when the group that had a tepan table leaves that we will be prioritized and given the seats. But then after minutes of waiting, the manager told us that they gave away the seats to another group. That was very inappropriate. Totally uncalled for. Would not come back due to poor service. Will not recommend.

The staff is so unfriendly and cold. Not attentive at all. Food is just okay. We are discouraged to eat there again. We’d rather go to Ohayo or Sumo Sam for excellent ramen and sushi.

I love it here especially the teppan! Price is alright for the quality. The staff are all polite and amazing! Always dining here before watching a movie.

Since Akira is primarily a teppanyaki restaurant, we decided to order Teppanyaki Sets. We ordered two sets of US Rib Eye Prime (P1,268 per set) because each set only comes with 100g of meat. This is actually their second cheapest set. After this the set prices jump to P2.5k, P3+k, and so forth. We decided to share 2 sets amongst myself, hubby, and 2 kids. The Teppanyaki Sets were cooked in front of us since we decided to occupy the teppanyaki table. At this point for over P2.5k, each person got a small bowl of teppanyaki, a small plate of veggies, 1 shrimp, and a few cubes of beef. We ordered Ebi Tempura which cost more or less P80 per piece (P400 for 4 pcs) and Blow Torched Maki for P350.Anyway food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. Definitely overpriced. We ended up paying around P3.5k and honestly for that price we could have already treated ourselves to a hotel buffet. Never going back to this resto again.

Too bad they run out of uni when we ordered, however, their food choices and quality is at par than the other Japanese restaurants. (Not to mention the so calles resto owned by an actor) Food 9/10Service 10/10Ambiance 9/10

First time visit to Akira today, after much hearsay from multiple sources and resulting curiosity. Environment was clean, and the staff was courteous. After ordering, the first thing we noticed was the level of ambient noise. Honestly, it began shortly after we sat down, but it became obvious it showed no signs of letting up even after ordering. The buzz of the blender, and the creaking and groaning of tables and chairs being dragged across the floor was just awful. When our orders arrived, I was surprised when our server did not bother to place the correct orders, in front of the person who actually ordered it, and instead placed it in the center of the table for everyone in our party of 5 to reach for.  As more orders arrived, at least my wagyu ramen was placed directly in front of me.  Much to my dismay however, it was not wagyu, as originally promoted on the menu, but from fibers, texture, and consistency, was very likely sirloin.  I can at least be thankful the restaurant didn't charge wagyu price. Quality of cooking was quite bland, compared to many other places I've gone to. Last item to arrive was my Chawan Mushi, and the server who brought it, seemed to lack a little focus, considering when he brought the order and called out what it was, he failed to even recognize that the person seated next to where he was standing, was the one calling out and saying that I was the one who ordered it. I had to repeat myself, and when he looked at me, it seemed like it took a full count of 3 before the idea that the order was mine registered in his head, and he finally set it down.  All things considered, it wasn't the most awful dining experience I've had, but it can also be a collection of the little things which can make or break a dining experience.  At least the supervisors and staff were reasonably nice, and the speed of arrival was adequate.  However, I would not return on the basis of the quality of the food.

I just got off the phone with them. They said they never accepted delivery so I suggest remove Akira from your list who “accepts Home Delivery”.

I ordered their salmon bento. Serving is big and the taste of the food is okay. However, most of the prices in the menu is quite expensive since it's an authentic japanese cuisine.
