I don't get the okay rating in website AT ALL...I figured I'll try something new today, taking a day for myself. I looked for something which serves a mushroom pasta. I stumbled across the menu for this place and the wild mushroom pasta sounded good to me. So I traversed Morato to this hidden place in one of the side streets. It should stay hidden.Parking was not easy. But since it's early afternoon on a weekday, I still immediately found a parking space. Went inside to deal with a server who couldn't understand the concept that I was eating alone.  it's a weekday afternoon and I just skipped work. Hell, yeah I'm eating alone. So I was finally seated. First of all, the mushroom pasta was NOT on the menu and that's what I came there for. But my disappointment did not end there.I don't know why in the world they would stick this girl with me. I think I look like a difficult customer right off the bat. I asked her for the serving size of the pasta and the salad. She said maybe 1-2. When it was served, it was so not good for 1, especially ordering two viands. Hello, know your serving sizes, as if there's a hundred things on the menu! 😑😑😑I called the management to raise my concern and she was as lost as the rest of them. She made a last ditch effort to apologize before I left, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth.I get the "heirloom". The pink potato salad is literally the salad served to us in the 80s. And it should stay there. No innovation, no reinvention. It's literally the same salad served during gatherings in the 80s. Not the best btw.The crowd pleaser spaghetti bolognese was a let down. Plus it had this funky aftertaste. Other than the size, both dishes were thrown on the serving plates with no regard to the presentation. I think they must have been a catering outfit from twenty years ago. Nothing new or special about the dishes AT ALL... The staff are trained as a catering crew and it's different with real life customers are asking about the dishes. Having visited Pamana, Victorino's and they like around the area, the ambience is not at par with the standards those other restaurants have set.It was P515.00 down the drain. No joy in the place. NEVER COMING BACK AND TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDING IT. BELIEVE THE OTHER REVIEWS.

hidden restaurant in T. MoratoFound this hidden gem in the busy streets of Tomas Morato. Luckily when we got there we were the only customers and stayed at the balcony (hello noise pollution)What we had•kalderetang kambing-it was ok nothing special, tho I find it less appealing cause they don't serve it generously (I think there's only 3 pcs of goat and rest was veggies) •tamarind roast chicken-Perfect combination for a salty yet sour taste, you'll never go wrong if you mishmash it with rice 👍🏼.Two thumbs up for the serving and preparation time (well I guess just because we were the only customer that time). Quality and quantity should be improved. Nevertheless I'll be coming back for more 🙌🏼

Food tastes good. Squash fritters are really good as well as lechon. But service is really slow. Food comes out one at a time and are not hot. Waiters do not get back to you even if you follow up.Would have been a good restaurant if not for the very bad service.

So far I've tried the lengua, pumpkin soup, yakitori and paella. They're all very good! Most of the dishes are good for sharing so actually, you can get full and satisfied with just 300 to 400. The place is also very nice, homey but with a touch of hotel vibe. I think the place is great for functions like parties and meetings. Dont forget to save space for their freshly baked cookies! Those are very yummy too!

Will not go back to this resto. Bad service and the manager was of no help plus the fact that parking is really a problem. We tried this hidden resto because my friend saw it from Pop Talk. From the other post that I read, it really should just remain hidden. We ordered Sinigang na Lechon (highly recommended by the waiter), Callos and Seafood Curry w/ Lychee and 3 plain rice. The waiter told us that seafood curry will be served with rice so he asked if we need to order an extra serving, we said no. We are a group of 3, he told us that waiting time is 15-20min. Our first order came after almost an hour of constant follow-ups -- Sinigang na Lechon w/ 2 plain rice. I asked the waiter for the other order of rice and he told me that it will be served together with the curry, wtf! There's nothing special with the taste of sinigang, they just used a few small slices of meat of lechon. Too expensive for P500+...After 15min, callos came in, small serving and no ox tripe 😒 which is so disappointing. We said that we will just cancel the seafood curry since it's almost 2 hrs already since we ordered it and we're done eating na so we just asked for the bill. But after a few minutes, they still served the it, we said we no and just give us the bill and to call the manager. We told the manager what happened but she said that they didn't expect the volume of people so it must be the reason why our orders came late.. it was not jam packed when we went there... we also told her about the "missing ox tripe" from callos that we ordered, her only answer was "baka di naisama nung nagsandok". After this disappointing dinner from their resto, we just asked for a discount for callos (it was just a very few slices of meat and more on carrots and bell pepper), she said that she'll see what she can do. After a few minutes the waiter came back with the bill and told us they can't give a discount and instead they'll just give us a dessert, we said No!
