This place is fairly popular in Tagaytay, partly due to the location. It really is right before Tagaytay Picnic Grove, that is among the famous tourist areas in Tagaytay, and is situated across the Tagaytay-Calamba Road -- hence making it very obtainable bothto public and personal transportation. We visited this spot to try its meals. We ordered a few of the home specialties (especially "bulalo" and fried "tawilis") and we weren't impressed with it. As the "tawilis" (a kind of sardine endemic to Taal Lake) was quite great, the "bulalo" (beef stew with some vegetables) was a little bland. The area itself had not been particularly beautiful, as the look at outside was wonderful. The facilities were extremely simple, and the tables weren't properly cleaned (perhaps since they have no time and energy to clean them properly because of the non-stop movement of diners). Parking can be problematic because of the not a lot of parking slots while watching eatery.
