We stayed within their hostel and due to that people got a discount upon the meals. Still expensive. And your day we tested and were waiting around to visit the pier they informed us, arrogantly, that people dont have the low cost any longer. We feltreally unwelcome and dissatisfied. The dog owner seems like a good guy, his Family members and staff have trouble to even set up a grin. Het ontbijt will be te duur voor wat het inhoudt. John, the dog owner (AUS) and his spouse Jiesa were congenial hosts. Despite being hectic with renovations, they produced us feel welcome. We'd a special table setup on the seaside to take pleasure from a stunning sunset whilst having a succulent supper! Nice eating place in abackpacker hostel. Plenty of vegetables!

We didn't remain here, but went for lunch time (after viewing in the Lonely World that they do great burgers and shakes) and we weren't disappointed ... I had a poultry burger with mango salsa and a chocolate shake, both which were tasty. The burgersare created from scratch - with homemade breads - so took some time, that was fine as you can enjoy the beautiful place of beach. Very pricey though - has been our most expensive dinner in Siquijor! We stayed until night, enjoying the incredible sunset with several beers on the seaside. Good place to meet additional travellers and create some brand new friends. The employees are super helpful and useful - and there's an info board out front side with information on stuff to accomplish on the island ... which may have been ideal for us to observe at the start of our remain, but we just found the area on our final afternoon.

Stopped here for lunch time, nice views, good food and a good price. Service a little slow. Accommodation looked best for what it really is. On the seaside though most likely not the best little bit of beach.

We regularly ate at JJ's during our 4 month stick to Siquijor through the lockdown in the Philippines. John and Jeisa produced us incredibly welcome, even though we just found possess a swim from the seaside before their eating place and backpacker lodging.The sand bank here supplies the best little bit of beach in your community, since it has sand instead of mud and john cleans it each day. There are beautiful sights from the cafe and a good shady bar region. Our favourite meals included the poultry burger with pineapple salsa, poultry adobe, and the wonderful freshly cooked correct english chips. Our buddy Steffen adored the cheeseburger, which he purchased practically each time we ate here. Moreover John and Jeisa incorporated us in numerous family members gatherings during lockdown whenever we were handled to a banquet of foods, which includes spit roasted pig.
