We stayed within their hostel and due to that people got a discount upon the meals. Still expensive. And your day we tested and were waiting around to visit the pier they informed us, arrogantly, that people dont have the low cost any longer. We feltreally unwelcome and dissatisfied. The dog owner seems like a good guy, his Family members and staff have trouble to even set up a grin. Het ontbijt will be te duur voor wat het inhoudt. Jammer, het will be een leuke plek voor backpackers.

John, the dog owner (AUS) and his spouse Jiesa were congenial hosts. Despite being hectic with renovations, they produced us feel welcome. We'd a special table setup on the seaside to take pleasure from a stunning sunset whilst having a succulent supper! Nice eating place in abackpacker hostel. Plenty of vegetables!

I will state right from the start that people didn't have drinks or even food inside. We continued the bike round the island and chose this spot to stop for a glass or two and snack once we felt tired. That they had information at the entry that youneed to cover 50 pesos consumable which totally OK and we'd no problems with that. When we surely got to the reception we received the menus. We were certain we will remain there and I requested to let us sit back at the table very first and we'd order because the menu was huge and we were exhausted. Let me also let you know that their reception region is tiny and unpleasant. But we obtained no, it isn't feasible in respond. It had been against their plan and we must purchase there at the reception. Then we said Okay, then we'd find some other location. And got in react - sure, just go someplace else, as you wish. In every 4 years in Philippines it had been my first-time to really feel so unwelcome somewhere. It really is definitely not the best way to offer with your potential prospects

We went there two times to take pleasure from the sandwiches with do-it-yourself bread. It takes some time till they make sure they are, but it's totaly worthwhile. The truly cool thing: while there is sitting possibility simply on the beach, it is possible to benefit from the nice beach andgo for a swim while sitting there!

We didn't remain here, but went for lunch time (after viewing in the Lonely World that they do great burgers and shakes) and we weren't disappointed ... I had a poultry burger with mango salsa and a chocolate shake, both which were tasty. The burgersare created from scratch - with homemade breads - so took some time, that was fine as you can enjoy the beautiful place of beach. Very pricey though - has been our most expensive dinner in Siquijor! We stayed until night, enjoying the incredible sunset with several beers on the seaside. Good place to meet additional travellers and create some brand new friends. The employees are super helpful and useful - and there's an info board out front side with information on stuff to accomplish on the island ... which may have been ideal for us to observe at the start of our remain, but we just found the area on our final afternoon.
