A friend gave me a tip about this new hole-in-the-wall in Kapitolyo. It's along First St., near Ser Chef and Gastropark.I thought its menu is similar to that of the nearby Kanto Freestyle Breakfast but Verena's rice meals are more spot-on, I must say because of their "twists". On my first visit, I had their Pork Kebab (P130) and boy, was I super satisfied! I had 2 sticks of tender bigger-than-bite-size pork bits with curry-ish sauce. I chose plain rice to come with it. It was tasty and filling! My ofcmate had Grilled Pork Rib Steak (P130) which I find quite small in serving but delish and tender, nonetheless.On my second visit, I tried their Lechon Kawali in Bagoong sa Gata (P130). The lechon kawali is crispy. I just wanted more of gata to come with it. I didn't taste any tinge of bagoong as well. As you've noticed, almost all dishes did not exceed P200. But you get to really enjoy the value of your money with Verena's dishes.I am so eager to try the other dishes!Third visit: I had Porchetta with Laing sa Gata (P140). There wasn't enough gata. I expected the porchetta to be quite juicy. Even the laing was dry. I should have ordered Kebab instead. My other friend tried the Salmon Patty (P140) and said that it was good. I just find the serving quite small.

Whenever I would go here it's always closed ??? Anong oras ba talaga ang bukas nilaLast time I went 5 then yesterday 6pm???Wth??........Update : nag pa renovate lang pala sila about to try their food
