The snow cone of Vampire Penguin is quite interesting. They have many different colors and many layers to their snow cone, aside from that I noticed it took longer to melt. What we had: Caramelon - This reminded me of a childhood favorite popsicle called freezy. It was sweet like honey dew. Twix - This tasted like chocolate twin popsies that had added texture and syrup. A good interpretation to Twix Chai Milk tea - At first bite, this hit me hard like a bag of spices suddenly hit your face. It's strong and pretty good, you feel like youre having milk tea. This concepy by Vampire Penguin is unique and whatever you order you really taste the flavor they are trying to get. The only thing is its a bit expensive for the size but worth a try.Paula website China

My first time to eat a yummy dessert called Polar Affogato today. 👍 I'm willing to try the rest of the flavors next time. Outlet was clean & the crew was courteous.

Tuxedo and Smoreos were the shaved ice 🍧 that we ordered using the Metrodeal voucher that I purchased.Me and my food buddy went here after dining at a Vietnamese resto in Makati. I can say that for the promo, the price is just right; otherwise, I wouldn’t have to order again. I’m not saying that their dessert wasn’t that good. Presentation and taste wise of the dessert is 👍🏻.Would love to try other flavor off their menu. For bingsu lovers, this food joint in Ayala Malls the 30th is a must visit.

Vampire Penguin is located at the top floor of 30th mall, right across the cinema. We tried the Tuxedo and Mango Splash desserts in their menu. They are a Booky Prime partner, so we got both of these for the price of one through the Booky app! Both desserts were good, but I liked the Mango Splash better. I’ve also tried the Strawberry Cheesecake before and I’d recommend that too. They have limited branches though, so do try them out if you happen to be in Ayala 30th!

Vampire Penguin is now officially one of my favorite bingsu places. Not sure if it is actually called bingsu though since the dessert originated in Taiwan. The ice is crushed/shaved to perfection and just has the right amount of sweetness. I personally prefer the strawberry cheesecake flavor. Great with sharing with friends!

Rainy days are here. Despite of the weather, my friend and I went to Vampire Penguin to try their shaved iced. At first, I couldn't imagine myself eating this cold dessert on a cold day. XDWe ordered small VP (green tea show topped with sliced almonds, red beans, and strawberries and garnished with condensed milk) and small mango splash (mango snow topped with mango,  kiwi, mango popping boba, and condensed milk) using Booky app. What I like?1. Variety of flavorsThey have a lot of flavors to choose from.2. Fine shaved snow3. ServingWhat I do not like?1. Artificial flavorThe mango splash that we ordered doesn't taste like the natural mango tho it tasted as mango puree.

A dessert place all the way from sunny California, with Manila being their first international location. The secret is in their shared snow. We found their desserts lighter than the Korean bingsu. We had Smoreos- which has cookies & cream shaved snow, crushed graham crackers, oreos, marshmallows, and chocolate syrup. Yummy! Mango Splash was even better with an array of fruit slices on the side. To top it all, shaved snow has less calories than ice cream!

I’m not a “dessert guy” but if it is a dessert with coffee, it definitely gives me that excitement to try it out. Vampire Penguin now offers Polar Affogato as part of their menu. It’s a shaved coffee and vanilla snow with choco chips, whipped cream, choco powder and choco syrup. There’s also that delicious coffee jelly inside the snow which was a pleasant surprise. As a coffee lover, I really loved it! It’s your affogato with a twist!

Shaved snow desserts are getting popular in the Philippines. If you must know what shaved snow is, it’s a combination of ice cream and shaved ice. With shaved snow, it is feathery, has a hint of sweetness and creaminess and very cold. Just one bite, it can instantly melt in your mouth. There’s this shaved snow dessert in the Metro and it is no other than Vampire Penguin Manila.
