A good hideaway from the bustling and competitive atmosphere of kapitolyo. A haven for heart broken people who just want to chill. It's secluded, and the playlists are light and frothy like the cream on their drinks. Definitely Worth searching for.

I very much enjoy our coffee and like other third wave coffee shops the interiors play with wood, steel and glass. The place is very cozy and the coffee is good, pastry also good. They also have a very nice collection of books you can read. We really did enjoy our stay. We are surely will comeback again.

Nice place to chill and study 👌🏻 the place is a bit small with yellow and white light. What I love here is their books! Yes they do have books which you can read during your stay. (Particularly, they have HP books 😍)

This coffee shop offers a homy vibe for coffee lovers. Coffee quotes and facts are posted on the walls of the shop on which coffee lovers can surely relate. The shop is well-lit which is ideal for studying, working, or even just relaxing with a cup of coffee. We ordered the following:1. Capuccino (130) - The taste was just as expected from a capuccino. The serving size was small.2. Latté (130) - It was smooth with bold coffee flavor. The serving size was also small.3. Choco lava cake ala mode (160) - the cake was moist which I loved. But I was expecting for the hot choco syrup to burst out like a lava upon slicing the cake. I've tasted a better lava cake with the bursting lave characteristic so I was expecting the same. But I was happy when the ice cream on top was offered free since originally an additional 30 pesos for the ice cream based in their menu.Hopefully they will improve their serving size since coffee lovers quaff coffee like water.

Simple food, the lava cake was satisfying (yet it could be more molten and lighter) and the spiced chai was perfect, a beverage that was minimalistic yet incomparable. The café's location is great, easily accessible to residents of Mandaluyong, Pasig, QC and northern Makati. Interiors are perfect with great decor. However, my main problem is the staff, most of whom seem to have a difficult time displaying the tiniest bit of enthusiasm to customers. Nevertheless, they are VERY VERY LOUD speaking amongst themselves especially in times when the café is almost empty. This shows an alarming lack of sensitivity towards the customer(s) who may possibly want to study or to enjoy a tranquil time with a cup of tea or coffee. The thermostat is also very uncomfortable; in the summer, 26 degrees is insufficient, so when I asked their staff to adjust it accordingly: I received a somehow sarcastic and condescending response, as if it were not the customer's comfort they are obliged to concern themselves with.We are all familiar with Makati's multitude of artisan and hipster cafés, sought out by residents of the metro, north and south. United Coffee may actually find itself belonging to the same stratum as possibly Yardstick or Commune. However, how will we lead coffee-lovers towards Kapitolyo if the staff does not even attempt to at least mimic, not even embody, the bright and respectful service that the staff in Makati/BGC cafés provide? This sucks because this area with its hidden gems such as United Coffee should be further explored, but the unpleasant service is deterrent and just further inspires me to seek out Restock or Toby's Estate in Makati. What a miss, United Coffee. I expected more honestly.
