Planned the whole week to go to Thai Dara just because I was craving for some pad thai and legit mango sticky rice. I've been to Thailand last February because of work and I wasn't able to savor the moment I've been eating an authentic pad thai. So I had to relive the memory and found this humble Thai restaurant in Kapitolyo as suggested by my boss who has already eaten there. We ordered the following meals from Thai Dara:Bangkok Spring Rolls - I was hoping they will have a fresh version of this but they only have the fried spring rolls. I thought I'd be disappointed but this is actually the meal I truly enjoyed next to the pad thai. It goes with a syrup-y sauce on its plate. Its insides were truly filled with fresh vegetables that complimented the sweet sauce. I'd surely order this again when I eat at Thai Dara next time. Highly recommend Thai Dara tryers to order this for their first time.Pandan Chicken - I used to taste pandan chicken in the past as my mom would bring home some of those when I was younger so it's the only time I compared it to what my mom used to give us. It tasted okay and maybe I expected it to be a little spicy but it wasn't. It might be a good partner to their rice but since we did not order rice and chicken seemed a simple staple for me every meal, I wasn't disappointed but it wasn't that grand for me as well.Pad Thai - ESPECIALLY THIS. This pad thai looked pink since I expected it to be green because what I tried from Thailand looked green. But when I took my first spoonful of pad thai, it was indeed on for the books. Thai Dara's pad thai will surely be one of the reasons why I will keep coming back to this place. Hailed as one of the top three pad thais in the metro, it surely rises up to standards. Thai Dara Pad Thai is a must try in case you want to order something simple yet amazing!Sticky Rice and Fresh Mango - This one's what I missed the most about Thailand. You can but this dessert anywhere in the area for a cheap price in baht. But I've been craving for it since I took home some of it from my Thai trip. As far as I know, Thai restaurants rarely put this on their menu in the Philippines but I was so glad that Thai Dara offers it. The only thing I wished it has more is the coconut milk. Overall, it still tasted like the same authentic version from Thailand. Must partner with one main course meal!Thai Iced Tea - Tasted more like milk tea to me, but I loved it! Enough kind of sweet that as I was drinking it while eating everything we ordered, I tried my best to slowly sip it and save it until I am done eating because I really liked their Thai Iced Tea.Aside from that, according to their Facebook page, they take special orders for Corporate Business meetings or events. So you may have Thai Dara to vamp up your meetings in case your group craves for Thai. :)Servers were very attentive and they don't have a service charge to don't forget to tip them in case! :)Overall: I'd surely come back!

This resto has quaint interiors. Very relaxing, instagrammable place. We ordered Pas Thai, BKK spring roll, beef panang and mango sticky rice. Pad thai is good, lots of toppings than other pad thais I have tasted. Beef panang is the milder version of beef rendang but looks like caldereta. BKK Springroll is like your usual lumpia minus the toge. Service is efficient and attentive. Also they dont accept credit card so ready your cash.
