Upon searching for a place to chill after having my meal during lunch on a workday. I ended up here at Subspace which is located within Ortigas Center. The place is a bit hidden from the crowd and is not crowded even during peak hours. Unfortunately, they only offer limited seating and the place is a bit stuffed. A/C system for the whole place is also a bit off since they only have (2) split type A/C and the other one is closed when there is only a few customers inside. They recommended me their Iced Lemon Green Tea as one of their best selling beverages on the menu. In my opinion, it was ok, but nothing too special about the drink at all. Value for money of the drink was a bit off since there is lots of ice putted in the drink.

Ever since my colleague told me that there was this new coffee shop in town called Subspace (that was oozing in cuteness as one of the co-owners is no other than one of Real Living’s contributors, Wilmer Lopez), I wanted to jump to Ortigas and check it out. However, with a food trip packed schedule, I can’t seem to squeeze it in… until one Saturday.

I ordered their C.B.H. (Cheese, bacon, and ham) Waffle and it's super savory. I also enjoyed it much because I love pepper and it's generously sprinkled with it. The Out of curiosity and cuteness, I ordered the Purple Potato Latte which comes in purple latte art. It's cute but a but too sweet for my taste. Overall, I enjoyed the things that I ordered. I probably should try their black coffee next time.

Crowded little coffee shop. Artsy, but food was limited and coffee was bland. I read prior stellar reviews about this place. However, perhaps because of changing times, subspace failed to evolve to the level of current coffee spaces. I find subspace subpar

I've been wanting to try their bacon slab for weeks now so this visit was something I've been looking forward to.Online, it says that Subspace opens at 6am. Yes the store's open but they serve food and drinks starting 7am. Not sure though if it was during our visit or if it's always like that. So if you're visiting early in the morning, make sure it's at least 7am.The bacon slab had two big slabs of bacon, scrambled egg and a cucumber slices. The bacon lacks some flavor but tolerable. The whole bacon serving was almost 50% fat which made it really really sinful. I think it could've been better if the fat part was a bit toasted. That will add a little texture to it.

Nice ambience, I've tasted the purple latte, cafe latte, and dark chocolate mint. For me the latter is the best. Their Big bang is the best seller, must try. Small space.

Their Purple Potato Latte (₱130) looked pretty... It was not even served in a cutesy latte art that this cafe is also known for.How about the taste? Well, like what I expected, it was more on the sweeter side but I also happen to like ube. It just proves its versatility once more! 💜💜💜Their S'mores was OK, just a little dry and a bit too sweet to me. I should have ordered savory dishes instead to offset the sweetness of the purple potato latte. The interiors have an interesting and appealing mix of industrial and... uhhh cute? Hahaha. I like the chairs (I believe they were chairs) that were lashed together and hung in the ceiling. For those who tend to prefer minimalist design, this cafe may look a bit too 'busy.'But I liked it! The cafe was small, snug, cozy, Instagram-worthy, a bit dark and a bit intimate... Perfect for introverts and loners (like me, tho I want to take someone special there next time) 😁😁😁

They have really cute coffee and latte's. The space is also very nice their furniture are fun and modern. A nice break from your local Starbucks.

While looking for breakfast places that open as early as 7 AM, I came across Subspace, a cozy little cafe along Emerald Road in Ortigas. It’s one of the first few cafes in Metro Manila with latte art. What initially caught my interest was the Purple Potato Latte (PHP 130/8 oz). I lurve ube (purple yam)! It was as good as it looked! Subspace also serves Peanut Butter Latte (PHP 130/8 oz) which was equally good. I liked how both perfectly emulate their respective flavors without being too sweet. I didn’t realize there was coffee in them, so it surprised me to suddenly feel the edge a couple of hours later. [Read More]

Must try: Purple Coffee + Slow Cooked Beef Tapa + Gourmet Tuyo Pros: Fast Service + Superb Food/Drinks + cute wall artWho new sweet potato will actually taste 👌🏻 on coffee?! I also tried their famous slow cooked beef tapa. It was sweet and very soft. I really enjoyed my breakfast! I enjoyed it so much that I ordered the purple coffee again but for my second time I asked them to make it cold. Whether it was cold or hot, the purple coffee was really good. 😁
