If you’re looking for a really nice place to eat clean Filipino street foods with a twist, look no further. Skinita Street Foodz would be your best bet. There’s no better place to experience high quality, well priced Pinoy street food with a lively social atmosphere than what Skinita has to offer. In fact, if I’d have my way, this place should just be renamed "Skinita Streetfood Heaven.” I love Skinita. After reading all of the great reviews, I knew I had to try it out on my recent trip to that stretch of Kapitolyo. I am so glad I did because I was definitely not disappointed. Conceptualized by friends led by actor Sancho Delas Alas, Skinita Street Foodz brings in great flavors of Asian Fusion + loads of street foods to choose from. And we were also able to discover their cuapao variants, they’re absolutely divine! I personally don’t mind driving all the way to Kapitolyo, even braving the hellish traffic jam if I’m in the mood or craving for their soft and fluffy cuapao bun with pulled pork barbecue or for the more adventurous website, I highly recommend their Kimchi Cuapao. It gives an addicting kick! I won't be surprised if you'll ask for a second plate or perhaps try the other equally delicious variants. The pulled pork cuapao and kimchi cuapao are certainly game changers, with the sweet, buttery bun and spicy sauces. Cuapao are served with Kropek chips on the side which compliments the soft cuapao buns with a bit of crunch. My companions are I are raving about the grilled Enoki mushrooms wrapped in bacon strips and me being a bacon + mushroom lover knew I HAD to try them. Oh. My. Goodness. I think a piece of my heart was left there. They are incredible. I decided to get my full meal there - I ordered the Breaded Bacon and it was delicious. I really think the Enoki Mushroom wrapped in Bacon was my favorite meal of the trip. The atmosphere is wonderful. I wanted to hang out there all day. There was plenty of seating to enjoy your meal! There is also a place to sit by outside and puff your cigars while downing a glass of beer to warm up when you feel like chilling outside. If you ever find yourself in Kapitolyo, Pasig, you must go to Skinita and experience the joy of eating street foods and other yummy appetizers with a twist! We really Loved the place! Lots of variety and to be honest quite a fun environment!Go early if you don't want it too crowded, seats are a bit limited as well as parking slots, so if you want to feel some better vibe, be it’s either be there early or a bit late because that's when people warm up!Overall, I love the restaurant's concept, the food and the vibe of Skinita. It's a place we'd love to keep coming back to. Just the mere mention of Enoki Mushrooms Wrapped in Bacon is enough to make me want to head out the door and go to that part of Kapitolyo. I swear, you really have to try it out!Skinita is located at Unit 2 'D Strip Building, 20 United Street, Barangay Kapitolyo, Pasig CityCall 0917 792 4862 for inquiries and more information.

Gourmet street food. That's the most accurate description for this place. They give their own twists to the usual street food in the PH but personally I find their food overpriced knowing that I can buy the same things outside for a much much cheaper price. Well, at least theirs is cleaner and obviously less sketchy! It's better to try stuff in the menu that aren't on a stick, like Crisfy Fork. Big, crunchy slices of bacon with bit of breading. Then pair it with their 45-peso beer. Damn, son. Wala nang mas masarap pa sa sulit. It's one of the two places in that part of Kapitolyo lit up and full of parked cars. (The other one is Uncle Moe's which is just nearby!) They did a pretty good job with their eye-catching pink and blue neon sign, plus the graffiti and writings inside are nice too!

We ordered the barkada platter which came with bacon wrapped quail eggs, angus beef, isaw, pork belly (this was too fatty), isaw, gizzard, and chicken skin. We also ordered wagyu, which is quite costly and so-so at P165.00 for just one stick. The platter is okay. The bee liked the isaw and ordered another set. They have cheap drinks, i noticed.

The first time I saw this restaurant on SPOT.PH article, I was amazed. Simply because I am a sucker for unique concepts and themed restaurants. The ambiance is really really nice. Perfect for friends who are looking for a place to hangout, I'd highly recommend Skinita Street Foodz. Our server named "Billy Joe" is very entertaining. We tried their Tapa A La Rody and Caramelized Spam since we went there lunch time. And we liked it! The prices are very affordable.

Updated: July 11, 2016I honestly don't usually like posting really bad things about a place... but... I really feel this needs to be shared.I went here for a chill evening to drink, spend time with friends, and enjoy the evening. Instead... I got something completely different. What really turned me off by this visit was the ambiance! When we entered, music was playing and the places was dimly lit. One of the servers decided to turn on the lights. He killed the music and turned on the TV, pretty loudly too, to some American movie that was dubbed into Filipino! He then played around with the lights trying to make them dim. Apparently, there was no setting for dim lights so he turned them on and off multiple times! He finally deciced to keep them on as a customer was actually reading a magazine. We were seated near the kitchen, the servers actually stood by the bar, near our table, and watched the movie. This same server loudly commented on the movie too... continuously!!! Instead of having a chill evening to drink and talk, we ended up having to listen to the movie and to the servers commentary.Later on, pretty much the entire staff was near our table, by the bar, watching the movie too. 😖I had a few issues too with how clean the place was. Sorry... but despite the supposedly chill ambiance, cheap beer, and street food for pulutan... I'm never going back after that visit.Original Review: Rating of 3I haven't tried their food except for their Pishbol, which of course was pretty good.I like their concept since it brings your street food to an easily accessible area. They also offer alcohol and is a chill place to drink. Their food seems perfect too for pulutan! Will need to come back specifically for their food!
