Price is a bit on the high side (most high quality authentic Japanese restos are anyway) but this is one of the best ones in Ortigas CBD in my opinion. Two thumbs up! :)

A real legit japanese restaurant in Ortigas BD! Had the sashimi gozen which is a set menu and it was really worth your money! My companion had the sushi gozen and he was all too happy with his order. The servers were also attentive and helpful as they try to elaborate the listed dishes on the menu. The ambiance is good as well you can have a good and relaxing meal with your friends or even have a casual business meeting over food.

My first trip to Manila and I was in the mood for authentic Japanese food for dinner. Came across Sekitori as this was very close to where we were putting up. We ordered the "Syabusyabu Gozen" on the suggestion of the lady taking our order. It was a great mix of pork, beef and sea food, with sushi and other things of course! In fact the lady made the beef dish live in front of us. Good food with good ambience!I guess the best way to eat the best dish at a first time restaurant is to ask the staff what is that they make best- you are seldom to make the wrong choice then. You can see from the photos how rich the spread looks! I feel they can work a little on their taste, but loved the beef! Overall a good experience :)

Whenever one passes by San Miguel Avenue in Ortigas, one will definitely not miss the towering Sumo Wrestler waving through the window of Sekitori Authentic Japanese Restaurant at Hanston Square building. This is the second branch of Sekitori, that started at Little Tokyo in Chino Roces, Makati. The restaurant is named after sekitori (関取), a top-ranked professional sumo wrestler in Japan, as a homage to Japan’s traditional sports.  Aside from the bigger-than-life sumo wrestler by the window, the restaurant is surround with pictures of sumo wrestlers and art decors relating to the beloved sport.

No parking space beside Richmonde hotel ortigas. Small Cockroaches around the dining. Staffs attentive. Taste of food, average. There's no reason for coming back. No special menu that marked on me. Sorry.✌🏽 it's a FLOP.
