Back when I worked in the Ortigas area, my officemates and I used to venture to the website-friendly Kapitolyo for our happy lunches. One of our favorite haunts is Ramen Cool which was established in the area before the ongoing ramen craze. It offers Japanese food lovers their favorite dishes, some with a few twists.

The size of maki became smaller. They should have increase the price instead of reducing the portion. Though ramen is still perfect. 'til next time

This is my go-to Japanese restaurant in Kapitolyo. It offers delicious ramen dishes, donburi, and other kinds of Japanese food. I also use this place for meetings with clients and friends because it has a lot of seating and house tea.My only disappointment is how they handle their Eatigo reservations. We ate here the other day and got the discount, but we were surprised to find out later that the restaurant tagged us as no-show even though we had lunch there. I'd go back if they provide better service because while it only takes a few minutes for their ramen dishes to come out, rice dishes took way too long, past the 20-minute mark.

Nice place for a quick ramen cravings. Parking at times can be a hassle, but there’s always a “manong” that can assist. Price is just okay.

My friends and I loved the Sweet Salmon Summer Roll. One order would have 8 slices so we had 2 slices each. Surprised that we liked it so much, we ordered again right after finishing the first roll! Plus points for it’s price - worth it.We also had the following:Pork Shio Ramen - 2.5 stars (a bit salty for us)Beef Ramen - 3.5 stars (the beef strips and soup are good)Regular Gyoza - 3.5 starsOkonomiyaki Gyoza - 4 starsSweet Salmon Summer Roll - 5 starsPersonally I would try more of their Maki rolls than their Ramens, though.

I’ve been to this Japnese restaurant countless times. Why do I fo back? Two words:: California Love.Usual Order- Gyudon (in photo)- California Love (the one in the photo is the spicy version)- Spicy pork rice bowl- Spicy chicken rice bowl- SukiyakiTheir “California Love” is their take on the California Maki. Ingredients are the same, but theirs has this creamy sauce on top which makes theirs stand out. The ingredients that they use are also consistent, especially the mangoes.Their rice bowls are good. Ample serving.Service- I think it’s because of the layout that’s why sometimes it’s hard to get the attention of the servers. But during my most recent visit they have servers stationed for the area with couches as seats so it’s easier to get their attention.Ambience and Cleanliness- Interiors are okay. Place is still clean despite the fact that they have been open for years.I would still definitely go back to this restaurant because of their California Love ❤️

First, ambiance is great. The place is well-lighted with a good set of furniture. Next, service is okay. Food is also okay. We ordered ramen (I forgot what kind) and a katsu curry.
